I’ve always been curious about this place whenever I do my grocery shopping at the Bio Market (Marché Bio des Tanneurs), and I finally got the chance to try it.
When we arrived, we were greeted by a girl sitting near the counter, seemingly on her phone. At first it felt a bit unusual, but perhaps it’s just a quiet moment in the day.
The space is surprisingly large, yet only two tables were occupied when we came in. We ordered an americano, a quiche, and the soup of the day — and everything was delicious. I was genuinely impressed by the quality and the very reasonable prices. It’s surprising that more people don’t come here for lunch, because it really is a hidden gem.
I can understand that during slower hours, the staff might not have much to do, and I imagine that’s why things felt a bit low-energy. Still, it’s a lovely spot with a lot of potential.
