Came here because of so many great reviews but it seems to be just a local diner. Pluses: they have giant windows looking out to the flea markets. The owner seemed very nice. The coffee was really good. The place had character with signs and pictures covering the top of the walls. They were playing good music.
Minuses: this place doesn’t seem meant for tourists, but rather locals. They are cash only, which I didn’t see in other reviews, and you have to walk a block to the ATM if you don’t have cash. The menu is only in French and Flemish. We both got croques but mine seemed bland and made from sliced bread you get at a grocery store, while my friends was better. We may have ordered the wrong thing on the menu because everyone else there was ordering the chili con carne or sandwiches that looked good. Our waiter seemed hot and cold toward us. Other customers were staring at us which made us a little uncomfortable although to be fair, I also got stared at by passers-by when I went down the street to the ATM.
In Summary: if you want an authentic Brussels diner come here! If you are looking for something touristy, this may not be your...
Read moreA restaurant where you can have satisfying lunch and is worth supporting. Their lasagna are very good although the portions are not always consistent. There could be some improvement in how clean the place looks. The staff is polite. No cash accepted which is slightly...

The favourite combination here is usually the soup of the day, a bacon sandwich, and a coffee or beer.
Because they open really early, they're usually closed by...
