Probably experience with less than 8 people is different and maybe better.

We have called to make a reservation for 8 persons, they answer we don't make reservation. Ok, we arrive as a group of 8 persons and first remark... you should have made a reservation.

Also as starting 8 persons, it is not possible to chose what you want to eat from the menu, they impose a menu for you at 35€ per person without letting you know what's inside the menu. Also one person was vegetarian.

They brought starters humus, moutabal, halloumi, some cream cheese, which was really bascu, with one piece of bread on each plate..... so it is a starter to share for 8 persons but there just 1 piece of bread per plate.... I think we already have some problems with the count here.

Then come plain grilled cabbage on aioli.

So first of all... would I have had the choice on the menu I would not have chosen those plates.... otherwise I would have gone to a Lebanese which would be tastier and cheaper.

The cabbage was just one quarter of cabbage and it was not particularly tasty... once again... not of my first choice.

Come the main, I understand that picaña is better to eat rare... but you cannot go without asking people how they like their meat.... some people like their meat cooked.

Asking them to bring one well done... they answer they are out of meat.....

For the vegetarian options, as one at our table is vegetarian, he received a small plate with mushroom... asking them if they're will be other dishes... they answered.. you already had all the starters that was vegetarian... I found it rude and not profesional at all...

In the end... bad experience... food is pretty basic... staff very rude and unpleasant.

Wouldn't recommend for group and for...

Terrible Experience – Never Again

We booked a table for 7 PM and arrived on time. At first, the experience seemed promising as the waiter was polite and explained the menu options. However, things quickly went downhill.

We ordered 3 mezze and two main courses. The food took an unreasonably long time to arrive, and when it did, it was disappointing: everything was overly salty, the bread was burnt, and my chicken was so bad I couldn’t finish it—my partner had to eat what I couldn’t.

The worst part, however, came when we tried to order dessert. We wanted to share one (priced at €16), but we had to ask five different staff members to take our order. Every time, they said they’d send someone over, but no one ever came. After waiting for half an hour, a woman abruptly brought us the bill and told us we had to leave immediately because they needed the table for other customers. To our astonishment, two tables near us were empty, and there was no queue outside the restaurant.

When we mentioned we hadn’t had dessert yet, she suggested we go to the kitchen and eat it there if we really wanted one. This was beyond rude. Frustrated, we left without dessert and paid a whopping €107 for an unsatisfactory meal.

To top it all off, we went home still hungry and incredibly thirsty because of how salty the food was. My partner even felt unwell later that evening.

This place is a disaster—rude staff, mediocre food, and overpriced for what it offers. There are countless better restaurants in Brussels. Not...

Been there many times. Always has been great. Food is delicious, the place itself is very cozy and very welcoming. The atmosphere is always amazing. This time I invited my business partners from the UK to celebrate a successful year, as the place is definitely one to recommend. Everything went well as always, however, when we were leaving the venue we wanted to take a picture of us. As the stuff were closing the place there was barely someone to ask so I went to the bar and asked the guy if he could take a picture of us. He politely said that he is busy at the bar and I can ask the guy on the floor, which I did. Unfortunately, the guy (tall with long curly hair) very rudely replied “I am busy have no time for it” and walked off completely ignoring me, which was very impolite. Funny enough, when we were paying the bill before asking for a picture we asked if the service charge was included, as wanted to leave the tip, he was very helpful, as of course it was about the tip. Not good enough, really. Afterwords, I found the manger, who was very polite and took a picture of us apologising for the inconvenience. Will be back soon, as really like the place. Perhaps, a little reminder needs to be addressed to the guy, as such a incident can ruin the whole experience, which the whole team worked...

We started our dinner with great hopes since the restaurant interior is beautiful and our server gave us a detailed run through the menu. However, my labneh came with a sharp piece of plastic (photo enclosed). I bit into it and was horrified. We show it to the server and he looked unfazed. He said “oh that must have happened when he dumped the sauce” 🤦🏾‍♀️ No follow up by the chef or managers, which should’ve happened ASAP. He ended up removing the 4€ labneh from the check after my friend insisted we were not going to pay for it. We ordered the seafood plancha under the impression it was going to be a plate with grilled seafood. Well it was grilled seafood but swimming in an unrecognizable sauce with too much tahini, topped with a ridiculous amount of parsley. Honestly one of the worst meals I’ve had in Brussels and I go out to eat 2-3x a week. The restaurant tries to do this convivial theme with loud music and waiters dancing and clapping which makes it difficult to have a conversation. I think that can be fun as the service is dwindling for the evening but not in the middle of dinner service. The restaurant has potential to be great but it will need a new manager and chef. I give it two stars because it’s a beautiful dining room.

We had breakfast here at this unique, middle eastern inspired, restaurant, while we stayed at hotel Craves in Brussels. We chose to take breakfast, because they promised us a gastronomical experience. It lived up to our expectations! The flavor pallets were tongue teasing and well balanced and the plating looked really good. The home-made hummus was something i've never tasted before, i've had hummus, but this one really blew me away. Also go for the grilled pita with nutella and mascarpone, you can taste the grill, and the combination of these flavors was surprising. Special thanks to our waiter Beto, a very lively and unique person who made sure everything was perfect for us. All in all, it was a great experience and something to look back at. Eat here, it is worth your time!!
