My wife and I had the pleasure of indulging in a six-night stay at the Hotel Amigo this past September. Our primary motivation for choosing the Amigo was its unrivaled location, nestled right in the heart of the enchanting old town, adjacent to the bustling Grand-Place market in central Brussels. The Hotel Amigo is a grand establishment, distinguished by the exceptional level of service it provides. Throughout our entire stay, the staff consistently exceeded our expectations, going above and beyond to ensure our visit was nothing short of exceptional. The concierge team, in particular, deserves special commendation for their expertise in securing dinner reservations at restaurants offering authentic Belgian cuisine, enhancing our overall experience. We had the pleasure of staying in an executive room, which boasted a large bathroom. The daily housekeeping service ensured our room remained in good order throughout our stay. While our experience at Hotel Amigo was very positive, there were a few setbacks. Most notably, the air conditioning system left much to be desired, particularly given the unseasonably warm +30°C temperatures during our stay. Regrettably, the room's temperature remained uncomfortably high throughout our visit, suggesting that improvements to the air conditioning system are desperately needed. Additionally, the room itself felt somewhat dated, featuring an old-fashioned décor and sparsely furnished. In today's age of technology, the absence of modern amenities like USB ports for charging devices felt conspicuous. The complimentary breakfast at our stay left much to be desired. Service was slow, even during quiet times, and the wait staff's attitude was less than welcoming. The à la carte system allowed only one dish per person, with extra charges for additional items like an extra waffle. Overall, the breakfast service fell short of our expectations, and we recommend exploring other dining options outside the hotel. In summary, the Hotel Amigo distinguishes itself through its remarkable staff and impeccable service, along with its unbeatable location. Nevertheless, it is evident that the property would benefit from a renovation to address issues such as the air conditioning and outdated room décor. Despite these concerns, we enjoyed our time at the...

My boyfriend and I recently spent five days in Brussels. We originally booked at an Airbnb but had to cancel that at the last minute due to safety issues. We did a quick Internet search to find a luxury hotel at the last minute. We called the hotel the hotel Amigo and luckily they had availability. We booked a suite. The hotel is situated in the cultural center of Brussels near the Grand Place Square. We drove our rental car towards the hotel, but had a very difficult time getting to the hotel due to one-way street and road closures. We called the hotel and asked them for help and they actually asked us to park nearby the hotel and they sent one of their Belman to find us. His name was Angel and he was an angel and he drove us all the way to the hotel. We were greeted at the hotel by the Hotel staff welcoming committee, all dressed in a beautiful blue uniforms and broad smiles.

We were shown to our beautiful room. After our long travel day, we decided to shower and head down to the hotel restaurant Coccino for dinner. The food and the service was excellent.

The hotel is the ultimate in luxury and service. We enjoyed daily maid service as well as a very lovely and detailed turn down service each evening. The Concierge team was second to none. Gianluca helped us every day find restaurants, activities, transportation and directions.

We enjoyed Bar Marguerite several evenings. The staff there, including Denis were so friendly and professional. The Specialty cocktails were amazing!

The rooms at the hotel included daily breakfast in the restaurant. Alternately, you could have breakfast sent up to your room which we did several days. We also use the laundry service one day and our clothes came back on the same day, beautifully cleaned and pressed in a gorgeous box.

Without exception, every staff member was polite, friendly and helpful. My boyfriend and I were so impressed with this Hotel that the Rocco forte brand has earned our business into the future. The attention to detail in the amenities, the service, the quality is nothing we’ve ever seen before. We are going to look for other cities or we can stay in their hotels. We are specifically looking forward to the new hotel that is going to open...

From the moment I stepped into Hotel Amigo, I was enveloped in an atmosphere of refined elegance and impeccable hospitality. Nestled just steps away from the iconic Grand Place, this luxurious haven seamlessly blends historic charm with modern sophistication, making it the ultimate destination for discerning travelers.

The service was nothing short of exemplary—every member of the staff radiated warmth, attentiveness, and professionalism, ensuring that my stay was nothing less than extraordinary. The concierge team went above and beyond, providing invaluable recommendations and arranging seamless reservations that elevated my experience of Brussels to new heights.

My room was a sanctuary of comfort and style, exuding timeless charm with its tasteful décor, plush furnishings, and exquisite attention to detail. The bed was supremely comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep, while the marble-clad bathroom, complete with luxurious amenities, provided an indulgent retreat after a day of exploring the city.

Dining at the hotel was a delight in itself. The on-site restaurant served a symphony of flavors, showcasing the finest Belgian cuisine with a contemporary twist. Breakfast was a lavish affair, featuring an exquisite selection of fresh, high-quality ingredients that catered to every palate.

Hotel Amigo’s prime location is unparalleled, offering immediate access to Brussels’ most iconic landmarks, charming boutiques, and vibrant cultural hotspots. Yet, despite being at the heart of the city’s dynamic energy, the hotel provides a serene and tranquil ambiance that allows guests to unwind in absolute comfort.

Without a doubt, Hotel Amigo stands as the epitome of five-star luxury, seamlessly blending world-class service, opulent accommodations, and an unbeatable location. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking an unforgettable stay in Brussels—this is hospitality...

Our experience at this hotel was a mix. The staff provided exceptional service – the person who welcomed us and assisted with everything was extraordinary. The valets and receptionists were very professional, and any requests we made were handled promptly and efficiently. For instance, when we ordered water or other items, they arrived quickly and on time. The hotel’s location is also fantastic, making it very convenient for exploring the area. However, we encountered significant issues that dampened our stay. The room was uncomfortably cold, and despite turning off the air conditioning, it continued to emit cold air. We called reception multiple times to resolve the issue, and although they eventually brought us a heater, the room still remained cold. This persistent problem left us with headaches and made our stay less enjoyable. The breakfast experience was medium. We had to request bread three times before it was brought to our table, and even then, it wasn’t the type of bread we had ordered, despite the staff confirming they had it. However, the staff was very, very friendly. Another negative experience involved transportation. We booked a car through the hotel to take us to a hospital near Brussels, and we were charged over 100 euros. Upon reviewing the bill later, we realized we had been overcharged. When we returned to the reception to address the issue, they confirmed it was a mistake and refunded the amount. They were very open and friendly. Lastly, there were small but irritating details, such as the doorbell sound in the room. It was excessively loud and startling, which added to our discomfort. While the hotel’s staff and location were excellent, the technical issues and service inconsistencies left a mixed impression overall.
