The bottom line is, YES please. All you can eat ribs, and they were awesome. They weren't the most tender ribs I've ever had, but they are definitely among the most tasty.
Before the meal comes they bring some of the most delectable slices of garlic bread with a little frothy butter on top, soft dough in the middle, and the perfect crunch on the outside.
Nice bark, perfect amount of smoke, great salty sweet sauce. The ribs were about the best I've had, and considering they're in Belgium that's really saying something. I've had ribs in St. Louis, Texas, Kansas, North and South Carolina, and a ton of other states, and these were among the best.
They offer three variants of ribs, the smokey sweet Mozart, a sweet and spicy, and naked. They bring extra sauce, so you can mix it up a little if you want. I couldn't stop eating the Mozart ones, but one of my table mates had the sweet and spicy, and he was just as happy.
The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because the sides fell a little flat for me. The baked potato had a curry butter that I found too strong and the salad was a little bit of place, but it looked like other diners enjoyed it.
The ambiance of the restaurant is old world and they play soft 30s and 40s music in the background that complements the experience perfectly. My group and I sat at a table closest to the street and the windows were removed, so it was almost like sitting outside with the advantage of being somewhat elevated. If I lived here, this would be one of my favorite spots.
I'm sad that I couldn't give "Mozart's, more than just ribs" five stars based on all of the things I love about the food, restaurant, and experience, but if I do, I won't have any mark of excellence for the perfect restaurant experience.
Don't hesitate going here at all, and if you like curried butter potatoes, you'll have a five star experience. If I'm fortunate enough to dine here again, I'll just ask for some kind of substitute, or just plain butter on my potato, and five...
Read moreWe had dinner at the popular Mozart and immediately opted for their all-you-can-eat ribs. Three of us ordered three different favour of ribs. Each rib came with a salad and a choice of fries or baked potato. We opted for baked potato, but each table also came with a serving of fries. Also, there were a bowl of butter and a cup of Mozart rib sauce, and so we could keep adding butter to our potato. After we finished the ribs, the waiter brought a large bowl of ribs to see if we needed more. The ribs were delicious and affordable. The service was warm and friendly. I liked the vibe of the restaurant a lot and I truly think it is a must visit when anyone in Brussels.
After a very satisfying meal, we realized that there was a 40% discount on food as we booked the table via The Fork! What an...
Read moreRibs (all you can eat) are delicious compared to another same concept restaurant! The services are quick and ribs served hot. They have 3 different taste: Mozart Sauce, Classic Sauce & Seasoned (pre-marinated without sauce). We like them all.
Environment is cozy with nice setting!
The rib in the kid menu served in good portion that’s enough to be shared between my 2 young kids
The only thing I dislike, we ordered a large beer and the lady waitress said must order another beverage (we are 2 adults & 2 very young children). Why forcing the consumer? Not that we don’t order any beverage. I personally cannot take a lot of alcohol and I don’t like soft drinks/coffee. My children always have their own water bottle. End up I have to order another large still water (€8) on top of...
