This place is one of the best restaurants I have been to and perhaps in my top 3 in the world!! My partner and I did the 7-course pre-fixed menu, which they change every month. It was a great deal considering the cost as we were so full by the end of it. It was utter perfection. Each dish was delicious and decadent with a perfect combination of flavors. Some of the dishes were the most excellent I've ever had! The fish and desserts were my favorites. Plus the owner is so friendly and fantastic, he makes you feel like family. This restaurant is a gem and I cannot emphasize enough how highly I recommend this place for anybody who lives in or visits Brussels! We were only there for two days and we made it a point to check out this place! I will go back to this place each time I visit Brussels. I wish I had something like this restaurant back home.

Overvalued if you ask me. I'm not sure where they're aiming, but the current situation is not amazing, quality and details are all over the place. Had the 7 course and a bottle of red Burgundy. Food is ok, but not memorable, definitely not worth the price. Service is too intrusive and not great overall. They insisted a lot on their Michelin stared dish, which sadly this restaurant will never get. The wine really let me down...how is it possible to not have a single decanter in the restaurant? Selection is small, not thought through and quite bad value (3x price). I put the photo of the butter since it visually shows their level of quality and commitment.

Excellent, tasty and care-free night spent at San Sablon. The charm of this magical place is inspired by its big sister with the same chef, L'air du Temps. What a pleasant journey for the taste buds it was, and great selection of wines. You must try the Chablis! I left with wanting one more bite - the best feeling to have. The staff is warm and pays enough attention to the individual tables. If ambitious, they could be a bit more sharp regarding topping up of wines/water, taking away the glasses and providing cutlery and explanation of dishes. They had a full house, so I also understand that some things took more time. We will defenitely visit again.

Went for lunch about a year ago to celebrate with the wife.

Service was very bad. Inappropriate jokes about my last name and ethnicity right of the bat. Very weird energy all around by the server, kept us in the restaurant until everyone left, started talking about tipping (as he obviously didnt receive none). Most uncomfortable experience I ve ever had in a restaurant.

Food was hit or miss. Amazing amuse bouches and salad. Great bread and butter. Main course and desert were sub-par to say the least - fish made us a bit nauseous, was hard to finish the dish and desert had a bad mix of very cold and warm which made the mouth feel unpleasant. Also the cake that came with the coffee was dry and bland.

Would give it a second chance just for the entrees if not for the...
