Belle Histoire — Restaurant in Ghent

Had a horrible experience. We wanted to have brunch before leaving to catch the train, and we ordered drinks and food, and it was quite crowded with their regulars. So we assumed the reason we’re waiting for almost an hour for the food is that they’re too busy with the others, although it’s a small place. But no, when we asked why we’re not having our food they said they’re sorry that they forgot to put our order in their system. But we were all the time in their sight, I wonder how the waitress that took the order didn’t bother. That was it, no extra effort, while I would’ve let it go if they had shown a better...

Teleurstelling. We hadden ons verheugd op een heerlijke Illy koffie maar helaas, de latte macchiato en de cappuccino waren bar slap en véél te heet. Het glas van de latte macchiato kwam niet schoon uit de afwasmachine. De bediening was heel vriendelijk, maar niet snel. 8 Tafels bedienen met 3 medewerkers moet veel vlotter kunnen. Geen idee waar de dames het zo druk mee hebben. Hopelijk is het eten hier wel van acceptabele kwaliteit. Wij gaan het...
