The place itself looks decent. It joins the hotel. However, the food and quality of service were appalling.
The lady who took our order was nice enough, but apparently made a mistake while taking our order (she didn't write it down, just memorized it). We chose vegetarian options.
The vegetarian samosa didn't have much taste. The potatoes were not really flavored, lacked the black pepper punch. The accompanying sauces were decent.
We ordered vegetarian chili paneer (supposedly hot) and vegetarian vindaloo (supposedly super-hot) with extra garlic naans. The naans were severly undercooked, the dough was still raw in places and the garlic taste was almost completely missing.
The rice was standard-dry, not very fragrant. The chili paneer was not spice at all, and oily. The vindaloo was a complete letdown: not spicy at all, it contained lamb instead of vegetables and the sauce was brown/more garam massala. We really had to grab the attention of the waiter after waiting forever (the place was not packed). After mentioning the vindaloo was wrong, the waiter had a very lackluster response and was more asking us what to do. He initially only wanted to remove my wife's plate and only when I kept repeating that I was also a vegetarian did he collect my plate and brought replacement plates. No apologies, no replacement for the other dish and naan and finally got the vegetable vindaloo.
We quickly ate something but didn't bother ordering dessert or additional drinks. The waiter never checked on us again, so we got the check, paid the amount, no...
Read moreVery poor experience for us! We were tourists visiting this place. Asked the guy for a plate of veg and non-veg momos and had them packed separately for takeaway. They labelled the non-veg as veg and a vegetarian ended up taking a bite before realizing what it was. Then opened the other box (which was labelled non-veg but was veg) and all momos were undercooked, one was white in colour as if it wasn't cooked at all.
It had taken them 25 mins to make the food and the reason for the delay was that they were making it fresh, but the food tasted very much like frozen food that was poorly warmed up.
I wouldn't...
Read moreI had the pleasure of dining at this amazing Indian restaurant, and I can’t recommend it enough! The owner is incredibly kind and polite, creating such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. I started with the masala tea, which was very nice — rich, aromatic, and a perfect way to begin my experience. Then, I had the Chicken Tikka Masala, and it was beyond amazing. The dish was bursting with flavors that blended together so perfectly — each bite was a delightful experience. The spices were balanced, and the tenderness of the chicken was spot on. If you're looking for authentic, flavorful Indian cuisine, this place is...
