Bistro Baziel — Restaurant in Ghent

Me and my friends stumbled on this place, and it was the WORST experience ever 🤢. I ordered a mozzarella sandwich, which was basically just a salt sandwich 🧂. My other friend ordered something called Klein Ontbijt. It was supposed to have cheese, egg, bread, and juice. But all she got was a small egg, two slices of cheese, two slices of ham, and some cheap-looking bread 🥖. It was reallyminimalistic. She also didn’t get her juice, which was supposed to be included 🧃. When we asked for it, they gave her a really, really, really, really small cup of juice. The cappuccino was super foamy and not in a good way, like messed-up oat milk ☕. And it cost €4! They also charged an extra €1.60 for oat milk, and it was totally not worth it. The oat milk was gross and tasted off. So for three cappuccinos (two with oat milk) and the other stuff, the total was €28.30 for all that trashy stuff.

The staff are super rude and unfriendly. I was a customer there due to the location but their behaviour is getting worse and worse each time. The quality of the food also is getting low. Expensive bar. I guess they take advantage of their location and opening hours (near the railway station and almost always open). The clientèle is a collection of all that is sad and tragic.
