Didn't meet the expectations we had! I did a lot of research before going there and only thing you can't tell from online reviews is the taste and size of portion - both were dissapointing. As we expect the Indian food to have flavours, this one felt bland. We didn't go for the menu which felt expensive and very less quantity when looking at other people's table who ordered the same. However when we ordered single dishes, they were also very small portions. Price to value ratio, I would say is not worth it. Even after spending ~60 euros the 2 of us were still hungry and looking for other options nearby to eat. The menu changes quite a few times, so it was different when we went there. We got the aubergine something and it was just something that would finish in 3-4 wipes, just a flat layer on a big plate. The butter panner was served in a small bowl and you can see that the crouquets seem bigger than the main dish. I am sure they want to provide experience of the cuisine, so they do smaller portions. Atleast they can advertise as a restaurant that does that.

This Indian spot in Ghent is very popular so the first thing to note: make a reservation. It gets seriously busy, and walking in without one doesn’t really make sense. They have a meat & fish menu, and a parallel vegetarian version, which is a great concept. We tried a good selection of dishes. The absolute highlights were the Mission Fried Chicken — hands down one, insanely good and the Bad Boy Seekh, which was also fantastic. Those two are top picks, no question. The Bumting Butter Chicken was okay, fine, not mind-blowing. The Mwale Gambas weren’t really our thing, and the BBQ Mushroom Mwale was just fine as well. We had rice and paratha with the dishes, and both were on point. The space itself is super cool, the design is immersive, playful, very much in theme. The food came out fast too, which is always appreciated. We also had the iced masala chai, and honestly, it was amazing. One of the few proper-tasting chais we’ve had in Belgium All in all, a buzzing place with some seriously good food. Worth going, just be sure to book.

Amazing Indian food with a twist yet retaining the authentic flavors. A very successful Fusion of Indian authentic food influenced by westernization. Honestly best Indian food we had in Belgium in spite of visiting many many Indian restaurants here for many years. We had Mango Lassi, Mission Fried Chicken with Madras Mayo (must try) & Vegi Menu to be shared with 2 people (Boom Ting Butter Paneer, Samosa chat, Oh My Gobi, Smoky Benghan, BBQ Pumpkin & Moilee,Malai Broccoli). The best thing of ordering Vegi Thali is that you get to try almost every dish on their menu. They do also have a Mission Menu (Non Veg Menu). We ended our stupendous dinner with their amazing deserts - Creme Brulee (indianised with Saunf like special powder topping) & Kulfi on Stick (Rosewater & Cardamon one). Unfortunately, we couldn't try other version of Kulfi on Stick (Pistacho, Saffran & Almond).. Will definitely revisit this place during our next visit to Ghent.
