Dinghi — Restaurant in Ixelles - Elsene

Extremely rude staff! They don't even give you plates despite it being a food sharing concept, when asked for plates they reacted very poorly, saying they needed the plates to serve other tables? How did they expect a group of 4 to eat shrimps on the same plate?!

They didn't just have one rude staff, there were multiple (except this one guy who was very pleasant - giving credit where credit is due). The waiter was not patient enough to take our orders before turning their backs and walking away immediately, we had to call them back each time to complete our orders. The lack of service got worse throughout the evening.

The entire experience ruined our night, you have a great bar, great location just to be this bad at providing basic service let alone human decency. This should NOT be the standard of the Brussels service industry....

I guess that, given the location, they can afford to be pointlessly rude to customers...

we were a group of people and: they kept the heating on despite the place being boiling and us asking multiple times to turn it off drinks were served 30 min later, often without matching what was asked (people that dont drink were served alcoholic spritz, with the waiter inisting it wasnt..) one of our friends was forced to pay for everyone, as they do not split the bill (we were told otherwise at the beginning, it would be interesting to see what the tax authority thinks of this peculiar practice..)

Hier, nous nous baladions place du Châtelain. Quelques terrasses dont une pleine, et quelques autres … presque vides. Il doit y avoir une raison, nous optons donc pour le "Dinghy" (bizarre de donner le nom d'un bateau gonflable à un bar!). Une petite averse et une charmante jeune fille nous trouve une petite table à l'intérieur (un exploit). Nous commandons donc les apéritifs, le Sprtiz est manifestement la spécialité de la maison, pas moins de trois versions vous y sont proposées. Petite restauration originale dans le style Tapas. Mais voilà que le soleil brille à nouveau, et la même jeune fille nous trouve une petite table en terrasse et y installe toutes nos assiettes et verres, et le tout avec le sourire. Nous y...
