Just discovered this exceptional bakery and it provides without any doubt The Best Croissants in Brussels â much better than any I have ever had in France, going back all the way to 1974, when I first visited. We moved to Europe in 2007, from California, having spent plenty of time working and traveling and visiting many European countries in the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s. Not only are the Croissants at Grain DIVINE â the most perfect croissant I have had in years and years and years, just flaky enough, not too sweet, not too salty, never overbaked (I really do not enjoy spending money on brown croissants that were cooked on an industrial assembly line by someone who imagines they need to look like donuts, browned loaves or toasted bread) â everything else is worth sampling as well. Luscious cookies, perfect scones, delectable madeleines (and the proper size, at that: ideal for a child, small enough to indulge in several)... I am, yes, enthusiastically cheering on this wonderful establishment! It is very much worth a visit, and that will spare you having to read more of my description of its merits. You owe it to yourself to try what Baked Goods...

Went twice, first time, I got some pastries and a coffee. Buns were quite dry and no distinguishable flavour (cardamon especially was not good). The coffee was absolutely horrible. The girl working their clearly did not get formed to make coffee, and restarted my coffee about 3 times, to give me a latte without any foam in the end, spilling over the top..
The second time, another very young girl was woking there. There was one client in front of me, who also ordered coffee. They waited. for their coffee for more then 15mins. The girl making the coffee kept remaking it. I just left in the end as it was taking on incredibly long.
If you open a bakery which serves coffee, also hire people who can make it.
Poor young people who work here without getting any training and probably having huge stress for not being able to deliver. I blame the owners and am truly...

Except there were 0 price /name tags on any bread, and when asking each time what this bread is and how much, got dumb heartless answers like âitâs a madleineâ. Yes I can see itâs a madeline but I was hoping for more details: is it with lemon? popoy seeds? chcolate? What if I have allergies? After asking a few times it got tiring milking out the basic answers. I was the only customer in the shop⊠Maybe a name / price tag or a more enthusiastic service...
