Small V60 and friendly staff, but there's some confusion about the distinction between the co-working area and the regular coffee seating. I wasnāt informed about the fee until I had already sat down upstairs and ordered my coffee. There was no signage indicating a special charge, and the staff only mentioned it after I was seated, requesting that I pay the ā¬12.50 co-working fee or move to the downstairs area (with option to use laptop also there). When I relocated to the ground floor, I opened my laptop, as they had told me it was fine to do so. However, shortly after, they informed me that laptops are only allowed at a small table near the entrance, not at any of the other tables. The lack of clear communication and inconsistent rules made the experience frustrating. Most venues have clear stickers on tables or some poster, it was missing here. I paid ā¬6 for a V60, which was good but small compared to what I've had elsewhere (in center of Brussels or Antwerp). While the place has a cute vibe and the staff is pleasant and knows about coffee, clearer guidelines for customers would improve the overall experience. I was really excited to try this place, but Iām leaving feeling like I broke the rulesāand after having the most expensive and tiniest V60 of my life. I carefully read all the signs about laptop use and made sure to follow them, but the lack of clear communication still left me...

This place feels like an extension of your living room with cosy decor, friendly staff that remember your order (and even name) if you come more than once, great magazines and delicious homemade cakes.
It is also the only place in Brussels that I know where your barista might actually have awards for coffee making (one of them came 2nd in Belgium in the aeropress championship - if you are enough of a coffee pervert you should be impressed š). At the same time there is a no snobbery - they ask you what coffee you like and explain the difference in taste between the ones they have on offer that day.
Not sure what the reviews talking trash about laptop policy are about - literally a huge sign next to the place you order spelling the policy out clearly (and the price of 12⬠for two coffees and whole day of coworking is really as cheap as one could hope for).
This place is not just the best coffee in town, it is the nicest friendliest place in town that makes you feel you are part of the neighbourhood...

The kind of place you try because you're looking for a quiet and friendly place to enjoy a good coffee with a friend or a book, the kind of place you come back to because the personnel was competent, personable and authentic with you.
Strongly encouraging intelligent and independent magazines. Perfect little yard behind to enjoy a sunny morning. They offer a solution for people with laptops: instead of trying to get rid of them by cutting the wi-fi or raising the music volume, they opened a new room and offered a very cheap price for drink and pastries, with no time limit. Smart and elegant.
The barristers are skilled, they offer a good (and regularly changing) selection of coffee, and the cooks make excellent pastries (big up to their shortbread).
Is obviously crowded at the time good places are crowded, don't be surprised,...
