My recent visit to Holy Bagel shop left me utterly disappointed. This place falls short when it comes to delivering quality, satisfying food and professional service with an obvious appeal to style, without any substance.
First and foremost, the food was a major letdown. The Ezra bagel with pastrami, which we were eagerly anticipating, turned out to be nothing more than two slices of poor-quality rubber bands. The cheese on top was served melted-cold, hard, and devoid of any taste. Even the second bagel, which by the way, both arrived without any cutlery, was cold and tasteless. It felt like we were dining at a fast-food joint.
The lack of attention from the waitstaff was apparent throughout our meal. We had to wait an excruciating five minutes before cutlery was finally brought to our table, and even then, it seemed like an afterthought. The bagels were already cold by then, further adding to our disappointment. To top it off, we requested butter, which never arrived. I eventually had to search for it myself, along with salt and sugar, near their kitchenette. Definitely seemed like the staff had no concept of service and lacked the basic understanding of attending to their customers' needs.
Paying âŹ33 for this subpar experience only added insult to injury. It was clear that this establishment focused more on creating an aesthetically pleasing environment for social media, rather than delivering delicious and satisfying food. The lack of flavor and poor execution made it evident that they prioritize style over substance.
The unprofessional approach of the staff was glaringly obvious. It was evident that they were a group of young individuals who lacked the necessary skills and knowledge to provide quality service. It felt like they were leaning towards an inevitable failure, and it's only a matter of time before they do.
In conclusion, I cannot recommend this place to anyone seeking a fulfilling dining experience. Despite its visually appealing ambiance, the bland and tasteless food, coupled with the unprofessional service, make it unworthy of your time and money.

Read moreit used to be one my favourite brunch spot, then slowly the place got crowded, the quality of the food got poorly disgusting and worst, the service got slower into a point you have to remind the waiters of your orders because they were always forgetting what you ordered, this time I found a giant amount of hairs on my toast, when I returned back and showed to them, they acted blind and implied as if it was my hairs till they realised my hairs were grey not black, then they shamelessly played cool by offering me another new plate, I obviously refused it and when I left they still charged me for my order, I guess I deserved the horrible treatment for still going back after the quality of their food got worst alongside...
Read moreWe really like it. We were in a rush because we had to leave quickly and the service was very quick, although the tables were full. The place has two separate areas, and if you seat in the one away from the counter, you'll see how the door is open/close all the time with dishes. It would be kind of tiring if you seat close to it. When the weather is nice they have lots of tables outside in the street. In terms of the food, for us the best bagels we ate so far anywhere. They add in the plates a very nice salad also. Staff was a bit lost in terms of dishes and tables but in general very efficient and fast. You should try this place if you want to enjoy...
