The food is undoubtedly delicious, more adapted to veggie than vegan ( I am vegan). The vegan options were basically one starter, one main dish, and some possible adaptations.
The mocktail I tried was very nice, a Virgin Mule as I recall – 0% gin and ginger beer + lime.
The two people running the place are lovely, friendly and passionate. We were served by Ariano.
Prices are ok for the quality, slightly on the high side, but like I said, the food, and the service were v good, so all in all, paying approx. 35 EUR pp for a drink, shared starter and a main dish felt alright. The pasta is homemade too.
Take care – if you book a table (recommended) for around 6:30 pm, they will ask you to exit at 8:30pm. I found that a bit strange and slightly off-putting, though they did offer another table near the entrance if we would choose to stay longer. The place is a bit small (cosy I would say) and they do it to maximise covers I think...Those that book for, or around, 8:30 pm can stay till the place closes...
Read moreI visited the restaurant a week ago with my friends. Halfway through our dinner we noticed a dead mouse next to our table. We discreetly explained the situation to the waiter as we did not want to make a scene. It took the restaurant's team at least 10 minutes to get rid of it and after that we were not even offered any real apology for the situation. When at the end of our evening I asked for any possible deduction from our bill due to obvious reasons, the person serving us did not seem to consider the mouse to be of any issue. After explaining why I think we deserve some kind of compensation, he very condescendingly offered us tiramisu (offered two pieces even though it was four of us). When I was leaving, he seemed to be mocking me. Even though the food was nice, the behaviour of the staff leaves much...
Read moreWe recently dined at Primo, and everything was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed, and the atmosphere felt cozy and inviting.
As a starter, we had the Parmesan cheese balls, which were deliciously creamy and full of flavor. highly recommended! For the main course, I chose a pasta with scampi, which was perfectly cooked. The pasta was al dente, the scampi were juicy and well-seasoned, and the sauce was rich and creamy without being too heavy.
The service was fast and attentive, and it’s clear that a lot of care goes into both the quality of the food and the overall guest experience.
In short: If you’re looking for an authentic Italian restaurant with delicious dishes and excellent service, Primo is definitely worth a visit. We’ll be coming...
