1.Food was delious, but i liked the mains more than the starters. We had a rum mocktail 5 stars The croquettes, 5 stars The butternut 4 stars Mains: the tartare with home made fries, 4 stars The stoemp 5 stars Dessert: snickers version 5 stars I like more a calm approach from one waitress , it was a little bit to american style of checkin in on you. The other waitress, Also young and forgetting what you ordered and needing to come back. (It’s not a big deal if prices are lower, but i expect better when you market yourself in this price range. The maître lady, we met outside when we left, smoking and leaving the floor to the youngsters. Also silly small hooks to hang your coat, at our table was only one and because of the cold , my big coat had to hang behind another table…. Really not ok imo, just go to IKEA and fix this problem in one day. Atmosphere is good, beautiful interior , bad lighting, my partner had the light on her face and it felt like i had to look at her in a way you do when you hold a flash light under your chin… that bad kind of light but from above, also the place was cold, my partner had cold,...

Overpriced, disappointing food

We left this plant-based restaurant feeling both disappointed and overcharged. We tasted the July - August menu and the lasagna was far too oily – hardly surprising given the heavy combination of basil pesto, nut-based vegan parmesan, and pistachio cream.

The “starter for sharing” was equally underwhelming: just three breadsticks for two people and a small serving of artichoke cream. While the cream itself was delicious, the portion was far too tiny to be marketed or priced as “for sharing.”

The dessert was the worst part of the evening. I had a raspberry crust that was dry, tasteless, and frankly ridiculous. Half of the portion consisted of an overbaked, multilayered pastry sheet – completely unnecessary and unappetizing.

For this disappointing meal, we paid over €100 – the most expensive and underwhelming vegan dinner we’ve ever had. The food was so poor that I honestly think the chef should be replaced.

The only redeeming quality is the lovely atmosphere. If you’re going there for mocktails rather than food, you might enjoy it. If you’re going for the meal – prepare to be...

I was excited about trying this elegant plant-based restaurant here in Belgium. I called ahead and they were completely booked, though were willing to entertain me at the bar for 1. I waited about 10min before I was able to place a drink order, about 20min for someone to take my food order, and received the main course 25min after I finished the starter, which I had to request my main dish from the server/host. The salmon tartar was sub par and not impressive. The glass of wine was exactly 3 sips (and I’m not a drinker at all). The main dish, “vol-au-vent” was unfortunately disappointing. The mushrooms were a nice touch, though the dish itself tasted burnt and was overcooked. The fries and Smokey ketchup was the best thing on the menu. I really wanted to order dessert so badly though did not want to waste anymore money. I’m a huge foodie and very difficult to disappoint. I felt as though the staff ignored me all evening, very seldom tending to my service if at all. As I attempted to wave someone down so that I could pay my bill, I noticed that they were getting the still water from the sink. Overall...

I had been wanting to go here since they first opened and am glad that circumstances FINALLY fell together for me to do so. Everything was fantastic, from the fresh bread on arrival to the small, sweet biscuit with my decaf coffee. The soup was probably the best I've ever had in my life. The portions were very filling; I was glad there wasn't a third course because I just wouldn't have had the space for it (!) - as much as I would have liked to eat even more of their food. The service was also excellent and friendly. I appreciated how kind they were to a woman who stumbled into what was clearly a nice restaurant, and all she wanted was a coffee. Many places would be very snooty about this, but verdō was not. And with just two staff, they also handled both all the tables and takeaways smoothly. You can learn a lot about how people and places work just by observing. I will be back!

Small vegan restaurant. Menu has sufficient and changing options, but unfortunately about one third was not available, limiting the choice. We had a bit larger group and were seated in the backroom, which has a bad accoustic. Very noisy when there are several conversations going on. Also for the waitress hard to get the dishes to the far end of the table. Maybe due to the group size or the fact that the place was busy, it took a while to get all fishes on the table. The croquant artichokes were great. The asparagus lasagna a bit flat in taste and the vegan homemade snickers heavy, but tasty. Waitresses tried to accommodate the group but more staff could have helped out. Worth a visit, but in a smaller company. Actually, the non vegans in the group were positively surprised, so take your meat eating friends here to try it.
