Looks like they do not want Indians to come in and dine.. possibly that's their definition of fine dining.. very sad to see this ... I am sure the restaurant may have many explanations or even say this is way in Belgium.. but notnacceptable. We went with our bottle of water and ordered food and we did not want a drink. Person took order went, served papads and we started eating papads when another person came in and removed all glasses from table !! We asked for glass after waiting for some time. The main person came in again today since we did not order any drink they will not give glass and was referring to "fine dining". We kept our cool and even told him I will put this as a review in your site.. he was quite casual...and said do... Since we had eaten the papads we quitely ate paid the bill and also did not drink any water !! Please think twice before you go here ... Or be prepaed for fine dining experience which entails them to you order and then decide what plate glass and fork you can use ...
Felt insulted to say the least ...
if I had ordered a drink possibly my wife could had water from the bottle we carried.. if not they should have stopped is when we entered...we put the bottle of water on the table and not kept it...
Read moreExtremelly nice! The staff is super friendly and welcoming. They really did their best to serve us. The food was delicious, for vegetarians i can recommend the Thali, it comes with 4 (quite filling) souces so you can have a nice introduction to Nepalese food. It is about 20 euros for the plate. The cheff does not use too much peper in the food, so if you are into spicy don't ve afraid to ask. They gave us a small entry on the house, which was very much appreciated. Unfortunately, i don't remember the name. We had a really lovelly date there and the restaurant set the mood for it. Lovely, lovely, lovely. All together we spent about 50 euros for two. Two main courses and a bottle of wine. The portions were very satisfying, i had to help my girlfriend to...
Read moreOn Friday evening the place was full and the staff seemingly overwhelmed. They forgot my partner’s main dish and it came only after a reminder, when I was finishing up mine. I have specifically asked for spicy food but it was anything but - the waiter apologised, saying that their system/computer at the bar which sends orders down to the kitchen may not always work properly when you need to specify some add-ons. Either a lame excuse or imagine having an allergy or intolerance, which gets ‘lost in translation’. Veggie steamed momos were rather bland, but thali was tasty and generous portion - even though it’s not a traditional indian thali with a dozen of small dishes typically served on...
