The pizzas have good dough, I give you. The ingredients are of good quality but something was wrong. My friend had a pizza with truffle cream and mushrooms and there was too much cream, which on top of that was cold. I had one with burrata and pancetta. There was a whole burrata on top, which is great, and the tomatoes were good. However, it was also kind of cold, the pancetta had a strange aroma (like curry?!) and altogether it was kinda watery. To the pizzas I would give 2.5/5 because they were almost good but something was missing.
The dessert was a sort of Snickers ice cream cup. I read on the menu there was supposed to be mascarpone, but I didn't see any. The ice-cream was just plain milk ice-cream, which had probably been defrosted and refrosted because it had ice crystals. 1/5
The worst was my cocktail. I cannot speak for my friend because he had a mocktail that I didn't taste. I had an Americano spritzer that was completely watered down. I told the waitress and she brought it back, a little stronger. But it was still like drinking a mix of 1/3 Americano cocktail and 2/3 tap water. Really not good. 0/5
Cherry on the cake, we got home and we smelled of smoke so much we had to put our clothes in the wash and shower. I suppose that's from the burnt wood in the oven, but then better ventilation is necessary. Very unpleasant.
All of this for 36€ each, which is a little overpriced. I definitely won't go back because nothing makes it worth it, there are better and cheaper places in Brussels.
On the upside, the waiter and waitress that came to our table were really wonderful. Nice, helpful and smiling, which doesn't happen often...
Read moreI have to leave a bad review. We're handed the food menu that suggested by design a pizza and a cocktail would be served for the price (that I later found out was) of a pizza. Yes, the 'heart' and the little print is there but if you're relaxed and ready to give it a try.. They actually sprinkled parmesan in a bread with pepperoni for a lactose intolerant person and called it a pizza. Finally, ended up paying more that the menu for two because nobody told us there is such menu.
Ultimately, it tells me you can't be too careful and just rely on people not to scam you. Poor service, poor food, scam pricing.... Bad review.
(Before they hide behind this detail: my friend did forget to order the pizza lactose free so they had to make another - at least they made two pizzas... - and this is when they return with the bread with pepperoni, for a lactose intolerant person, and call it a pizza. Parmesan, only sprinkled 🤦🏼. Finally, even after seeing the bill added to more than a menu for two, they didn't even have the decency to bill that and instead itemised the bill adding to more than the menu... pity, other people seemed to...

I was told that it would be transferred back to my account. As I still haven’t received the money on Wednesday, I reached out to them to ask and received the following message:
