Grand Café Industrie — Restaurant in Leuven

Restaurant located near by Louvain station. People were very welcoming, the location elegant and perfect.. It offers good service. I ordered a carbonade, a typical Belgian dish, but unfortunately I only got soup of carbonade, with three small pieces of meat. An offense to the traditional plates in Belgium. The taste was very good, but the quantity was really meager at a cost of around 20 euros, accompanied by a small plate of salad and a small bag of chips. What can I say, I was disappointed ... I recommend the place but I certainly do not recommend choosing a carbonade, because there are much better ones...

Just horrible. Located near the train station, it's clear the only reason they stay afloat is the heavy foot traffic. The staff is underpaid and unmotivated, leading to numerous issues: incorrect dishes, late service, and poorly composed meals. The food is either straight from the freezer or of bad quality. The staff is disorganized and disconnected from both clients and each other. Everything, from the food to the employees, is cheaply sourced. A total tourist trap. Avoid. Not the best experience; a group of 6 visited this place for breakfast around 10AM, which is typically late but the owner told us to join; but they had only cold eggs and foods. Had to wait for 10-15 min and argue with the other colleague who was not at all entertaining to give us eggs!
