Tokyo Sushi & Bar — Restaurant in Liège

I am sorry but I won't be visiting again. The food that arrived looked fine like the pictures show but the taste was bland and the food was half-cold when arrived. The best thing I had was the rice in my bento set but that one is hard to mess up. The worst thing I had were the tempura shrimps, it was just like rubber on the inside and not crisp at all. I feel like most of the stuff was made beforehand and heated in the microwave.

The sushi roll fell apart and was way too big for a normal sushi roll. Couldnt even pick it up before falling apart completely. The smaller sized bento sushi were fine but it is quite obvious that no high quality fish was used here.

All in all I felt very disappointed and honestly skipped dessert because I didn't feel like it anymore. Service is OK,...

It looks like they moved across the road to a bigger unit. Meaning they are definitely doing something right.

I am a tough critique, here goes... Portions were great, generally quite good value for money for the quality/volume. Good, The meats and fish seemed fresh and seasoned well. It's subtle flavours which is what it's meant to be for Japanese dishes. Cleansing. Price is good for amount.

Less good, The wasabi is of the lower quality, the miso is off a packet, the bento box rice was jasmine rice? I hope chrachi dishes are not jasmine rice... The cut of the fish on the rolls seems like off cuts or, it falls apart easily as I had multiple pieces to make up one roll (but it seems fresh).

A solid 4+ stars. Will come again if we travel here again....

This restaurant is the best place to eat delicious Japanese Sushi in Liege. The place itself is quite small but cosy, decorated with plants and even characters from anime serries. The waiting time was longer than I expected and for that I wanted to give 4 star BUT after grabbing few bites from the sushi, I forgot about everything. It was tremendously tasty and the extra ginger was perfect. The staff was nice and friendly. All in all, I recommend to you this restaurant and hope you'll enjoy it as...
