Didn’t have a reservation, ended up sitting outside, so can’t comment on the interior. The dishes certainly look attractive and the descriptions sound enticing, but upon tasting them, we found them to be average at best. In our experience, some dishes were under-seasoned (e.g. wontons and the rice pancakes, which also needed more time to soak the vinegar dressing poured on top at the table). The fish and vermicelli was lovely, but was a little too cold when it got to our table and as a result, the oil was starting to solidify, which sadly affected the consistency. Such lack of attention to taste to me seems unjustified for a pricey high-end place such as this establishment. Staff also seemed a tad snobby (they assume straight away you’ve never had Asian food before!), yet not up to the standard of a supposedly high-end place e.g. they didn’t bring fresh cutlery/plates after a particularly messy dish was served, very standard in most restaurants, I had to actually ask and insist that I didn’t want to taste fennel and fish with my udon and salsiccia. Overall, an underwhelming experience (especially in terms of taste), which I cannot wholeheartedly recommend to any fellow foodie...

Nénu, I stubled on this restaurant while showing someone along brussels and we were getting hungry for lunch. The people working here are very friendly and for those that can't speak French they defintely can speak and understand English. But let's talk about the food, we tried the "Banh-Cuon", eggplant tofu and the rau ram whith jerky beef. I must say it was very good, taste really nice and you can ask if you want for some free extra side rice without any problem. the concept of this restaurant is "tapas in a Vietanm style". They do recommend 3 dishes per person i understand why, however i find the prices than a bit to high for it. for the current 3 dishes just listed is already 51€. so you can easily see if this was 3 dishes per person this would easily be over the 50€ per person without drinks. A bit much personally. In short, if you feel like treating yourself to a fancy vietnamse tapas that taste really good. This is the place to go, but for everyday lunch or dinner, i wouldn't go here because it would...

Nenu is hands down one of the best dining experiences you can have in Brussels. From the moment you step in, you feel the warmth of the team and the creativity that drives the whole place. Chef Robin is truly outstanding – not only for his talent in the kitchen but also for the way he brings energy and passion to every dish. Each plate feels like a story being told, balancing flavors with precision and soul. And it’s not just Robin – his amazing colleagues make the whole experience seamless, combining professionalism with genuine hospitality. The vibe at Nenu is modern yet cozy, perfect whether you’re out with friends or on a special night. You can feel that everyone in the team loves what they do, and it shows in both the food and the atmosphere. Absolutely worth the visit. If you’re in Brussels, Nenu should be at the top of your list!

We arrived at the restaurant at 18:50h. In was pooring rain, thunder and lighting. We asked if we could wait inside for the rain. The answer was no because they weren’t ready. Eventhough they were not ready, the staff still had time to smoke cigarettes under the canopy whilest clients were still waiting in the pooring rain. This is not how you treat paying customers. Side note: staff was laughing with the fact everyone was getting wet, while they were enjoying their cigarets covered from the rain. In the picture you can see customers waiting while 4 members are chilling. Terrible. Never coming back. At the end of the shift we could also see the cooks in the kitchen throwing limes at eachother, which is not a good look for an expensive restaurant… hope you guys learn how to treat people
