Best food on the island easily. The prices are fair, not a tourist trap so everything on the menu is a good price. $15 BZD/$8 USD will get you a good, filling meal. I’m a picky eater, but I tried the stewed chicken and fry Jack breakfast, the chow mein, and the cheeseburger and fries. The fry Jack changed my life. I absolutely loved it. The chow mein was the best I’ve ever had, and the burger and fries was solid. Everything I tried and everything my husband tried was amazing. It’s straightforward, no muss no fuss. You tell Auntie what you want, she confirms and then you pay when you receive your food. Prices depend on customizations to your food (I didn’t want beans with breakfast, so my meal was cheaper than advertised). Service was fast, we didn’t wait very long and there were picnic tables to sit at. I’d come to Caye Caulker again just for Auntie’s. I dream of the fry Jack and chow mein. The baked chicken was even worse! My boyfriend ordered a side of macaroni salad which they forgot (but of course he already paid for), and the chicken meat was so dry I didn't even want to finish it. The beans and rice had a weird taste to it.
I really really regret...
Read moreWe tried a few dishes, and they were ok. The shrimp chowmain was decent, good portion, and as expected. I like how it has a good amount of vegetables. They stir fried the vegetables good and it still crunchy. The shrimp was good size. We also tried BBQ pork rib, rice with bean, and potatoes salad. The potatoes salad was good, but the portion is small. The bean and rice was not good and so much, we didn't finish. The BBQ pork had good and juicy, it's similar taste to Chinese chasiu pork, a bit on a sweet side, but I didn't like how it's so red with color. We also tried fried chicken, bean rice and potatoes salad. The fried chicken was dry for me,...
