Easy booking though WhatsApp. I had their 6 course tasting menu that comes paired with cocktails/wine. Today (February 6) was the first day of this menu- they switch it up about every month. Courses: 1- empanada de mais morado con paiche (fishy taste), bolita de choclo relleno con queso (very good), cocktail- singani sour with ají (very good, my favorite) 2- heritage grain bread (like sourdough) with roasted veggies (a little spice and vinegar taste), pate de pollo (ok- kind of bland), butter chimichurri (tastes herbal) 3- vegetables- mini Brussels sprouts, peas, beans, fava beans in a creamy, cheesy sauce (with cured egg yolk). Really good, smoky & creamy, paired with a foamy shot of Bolivian leche de Tigre- mix of milks, tasted sweet, creamy, coconutty and alcohol heavy 4- pumpkin noodles with a creamy sauce- thyme & tomatoes . A shot of local Andean style gin with floral tasting fruit, topped with huacatay oil. Gin was very, very smooth- not noticeable at all 5- rainbow trout from lake Titicaca, puréed sweet potato, baby greens, huacatay emulsion. A very sweet, crisp, sparkling light white wine called Arenjuez from Bolivia- taste notes of honey. 6- yucca and cheese purée, roasted broccoli and cauliflower, dehydrated roasted llama (like jerky but drier), a smoky red pepper sauce, tomatoes, carrots, beets, sweet potato chips. Chicha morada with Amazon style gin (more herbal)- very smooth. Dessert 1- guava macaron with balsamic reduction. Bumpy, crunchy, no soft middle. Guava cream was a light whipped texture, sweet, slight guava taste. Balsamic did not overpower. Bolivian Vodka with tea- smooth but tea had strong floral taste. Dessert 2- choclo ice cream (more like an ice- hard sphere but creamy and sweet), burnt corn butter (didn’t like it paired with dessert), sugar cane honey (sweet and smoky). Venezuelan Añejo rum with spiced infused dried peaches. Nice, balanced flavor (but definitely tastes like aged rum which is not my thing) Great food! Attentive service- a chef and the bartender explain every course. Not a rushed pace, almost 2 hours. The bill was cheap for the type of dining experience . $32 usd including tip

Great find in Sucre, amazing value and very nice way to explore local cuisine! We really loved this restaurant! You pick a menu (number of courses, with/without matching (non)alcoholic drinks). We went for the 130 Bolivian 8-course menu which included drinks. Incredible value! The chef decides on the menu, all Bolivian dishes with a modern twist. One of the chefs brings every course to your table with explanation on where it comes from etc. They are really passionate about it and the food is really good. The drinks that come with the courses are a mix of local cocktails, beers and wine, some a bit strange, i just love to try new things :-) The service is a bit inexperienced and might miss a detail left and right (e.g. bring new cutlery) but they try their best, I'm sure they'll pick up over time. The restaurant feels new/young, not very busy but as it establishes itself it will attract a bigger crowd for sure

I went there regarding all good advises, unfortunatly the experience for me was not great for the standing, it's a good way to discover Bolivian dishes, there are several plates, the tastes are nice but nothing crazy regarding the price of 160bs, the service was slow I stayed there more than 2 hours, the nap was not clean a lot of hairs, in one dishes I even got one that probably moved from the table.. For the wines, I got the white wine when I was almost done with the fish plate, there is no indication, I don't find It normal, you should inform the client about the upcoming drink combination and serve it close from the dishes you served. On lunch I had a nice daily menus in a restaurant close by for 13bs and comparing to this one, 12 times more expensive It's not worth, I won't recommend. If you want a gastronomic like restaurant I highly recommend you el Solar, 7 dishes for 80bs, I had a better time for 2 times cheaper.

I did the tasting menu which is 180bs. You are served 2 snacks + 2 appetizers + 2 main courses + 2 deserts. Main course is paired with wine and the rest with small shots of cocktails. The photos are uploaded in the order as described: 1. Empanada 2. Bread with 2 different spreads 3. Vegan ceviche with spicy sauce (which was my favorite dish!) - tomatoes, beets, onions, tomatillo, corn 4. Zucchini wish peanut sauce (2nd favorite dish) 5. Trout from lake Titilaka - broccoli, tomatoes, sweet potatoes and avocado purées, paired with red wine from Tarija (great wine!) 6. Llama with “fresh” cheese and mini fried potatoes 7. Pie de limón with more hue + my favorite coffee and singani cocktail pairing 8. Ice cream with cream It was a very nice experience for the price. They also have the same ownership vegetarian restaurant few blocks away called Tierra restaurante vegetariano.

Wow, what a marvellous experience! Indigenous cuisine reinvented with gastronomical expertise. We absolutely loved our 6 course degustation. Each dish was well thought out and delicious, paired with a great variety of drinks to make for a wonderful dining experience. The service was excellent as well, despite our poor Spanish skills the waiter and chef both made a lot of effort to engage with us and ensure we understood what we were being served. This is a MUST if you're visiting Sucre.

Superb. (It is recommended to book in advance). The food (tasting menu) is inventive, full of Bolivian flavours and ingredients and beautifully presented. The service is first class, professional, friendly and all dishes and pairing drinks patiently explained in English. The waiters are amazing, they work calmly and methodically as the restaurant gets busier and busier. Well done to the whole team there and to everyone in the kitchen who put together those amazing dishes.
