Nestled within the opulent confines of the Copacabana Palace Hotel, Pergula offers a dining experience that epitomizes luxury and sophistication, characteristic of the esteemed Belmont Group. From the moment I entered, the ambiance enveloped me in an elegant yet inviting atmosphere, setting the stage for what would be a remarkable culinary journey.
Our dining experience began with the attentive service of Isadora, who not only showcased her extensive knowledge of the menu but also embodied the essence of a true brand ambassador. Her recommendations were spot on, guiding us to the exquisite Chateaubriand, which was cooked to perfection. The tenderness of the beef, complemented by a delightful crust, was a testament to the chef's expertise. Each bite melted in the mouth, making it an unforgettable centerpiece of our meal.
To accompany this culinary delight, we opted for the Hotel Wine Copacabana dry blend. This exquisite pairing enhanced the flavors of the Chateaubriand beautifully, creating a harmonious balance that elevated the entire dining experience. The wine's crisp notes and subtle complexity were a perfect match, showcasing the thoughtful selection of local and international offerings available on the wine list.
The seating arrangements at Pergula are thoughtfully designed, providing both comfort and privacy, allowing for an intimate dining experience. The decor strikes a balance between modern elegance and classic charm, further enhancing the luxurious feel of the venue.
Service delivery was impeccable, with Isadora ensuring that every aspect of our meal was executed flawlessly. Her warm demeanor and attention to detail made us feel cherished as guests, embodying the high standards associated with the LVMH Group.
In conclusion, Pergula at the Copacabana Palace Hotel is a must-visit for anyone seeking a blend of exquisite cuisine and unparalleled service. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply indulging in a night out, this restaurant delivers an experience that is nothing short of magnificent. I left with my expectations exceeded and a desire to return to this...
Read moreWe went to the Copacabana Palace Hotel for breakfast earlier today, a Sunday.
It was a beautiful day, and the pool area was full. You can choose a table by the pool or inside; we chose inside because it was quite warm outside.
The buffet is really nice, and we were attended to by Alex and Reginaldo, who went above and beyond.
Reginaldo even shared a bit of the hotel’s history, and about the other two restaurants, which was superb.
Everything we asked for was taken care of promptly.
The buffet is spectacular, with high quality fresh fruits like mango, jabuticaba, and fruta-do-conde, which are rare to find.
We ordered eggs Benedict and omelets, which came from the kitchen, both were delicious.
Overall, it was top of the line, and I highly recommend it. It’s really worth it!
I had a flat white, and my wife had a cappuccino multiple times; both were amazing.
We can’t wait to go back. Five stars all the way!
One note for management: Inside, the air conditioning wasn’t very strong. I didn’t want to bother the staff, but it’s something to monitor. With many people inside, it got quite warm, especially on a sunny summer day. It should be a little cooler to improve the...
Read moreThis is a sad story. It was supposed to be a nice dinner for my boyfriend's birthday... I give one star (not all of it) to the staff that she tries to speak English as much as she could, in an international hotel like the Copacabana Palace. More than 80% of the guests at the time I was there (on a Monday) where English speaking customers as you can imagine. The atmosphere and the decoration in the restaurant is great but you can thank that to the hotel. Now the food... NOT GOOD there was a portion of the t bone beef that it was uneatable as it was raw, chewy and it was smaller than 750gr. The vegetables that came with the beef weren't enough for 2 people, and that is the only thing that came with it. Not even a souce or lettuce to decorate.. Come on, we are paying for this meal! It was a 200 BRL plate in what is supposed to be a high end restaurant, please put a little effort. The drinks were average and the wine selection very poor. I'm usually very objective with my reviews but this really...
