Baio Cozinha Sulista — Restaurant in Região Imediata de São Paulo

I had the great pleasure at dining at Baio Cozinha Sulista two nights in a row. The dining experience was intimate and being on the 23rd floor, had an amazing view.

The waitstaff is simply amazing. Not only are they incredibly knowledgeable about the food, they have a level of passion about cuisine that I've never experienced before. The engaging discussion with our waitstaff about the menu, including preparation and taste profiles, made the food that much better. Instead of telling you about a dish and its ingredients, they told you a story about the dish - how it's made, why, and what makes each item appealing.

I had the honor of speaking with the chef on my second visit. They were relatable, kind, and clearly focused on providing a world-class dining experience.

If you're looking for high cuisine, a great atmosphere, and people that live for food, take the time for a visit....

Fizemos uma reserva para o Baio no dia 21/06/2025, esperando um jantar romântico, mas o que encontramos foi uma experiência horrível e frustrante devido ao péssimo atendimento. Chegamos e pedimos dois drinks, que demoraram inacreditáveis 35 minutos para chegar à mesa. Em seguida, pedimos água tônica, e o serviço continuou caótico: o garçom trouxe apenas os copos, levou-os de volta para "trazer tudo junto" e só retornou com a lata de tônica. Levou mais tempo para que ele finalmente conseguisse trazer o pedido corretamente. Ainda tentamos pedir uma entrada do cardápio, apenas para sermos informados de que o item não estava disponível. Escolhemos outra opção, e novamente a espera foi excessiva, com a entrada demorando mais 40 minutos para chegar. Após todo esse desrespeito e a lentidão absurda, decidimos que era inaceitável continuar. Optamos por ir embora sem sequer pedir o prato principal e procuramos um restaurante com um atendimento decente. Para piorar, notamos que o problema não era pontual da nossa mesa. As duas mesas ao nosso lado também tiveram problemas significativos, com pratos vindo errados. O que deveria ter sido um jantar romântico transformou-se em uma noite de irritação e decepção. Amazing restaurant located on the 23rd floor of the W hotel, service and atmosphere were so amazing I really enjoyed. The menu its a little bit too restricted for vegetarians having basically one item as main dish, I guess having in mind that it’s located in a W Hotel the restaurant should have mote vegetarian options or the possibility of adapting for vegetarian. Breakfast for the hotel is also served here...
