Beautiful place, delicious food & drinks, but our first visit was a total disaster!

My wife picked the place for a date night and got in contact with them checking out wether they had vegan options, which she was assured, they had. Unfortunately none of the staff didn’t even know what vegan even means, nor did they know their own menu and the only vegan main dish. They read us the menu out loud, only to realise every time that the dishes weren’t vegan at all. My wife ordered the polenta with mushroom ragu & told the staff several times that it was to prepared vegan. What arrived was the non vegan polenta. My burrata btw was delicious and the best I had in 3 years living in Brazil. As a main my wife ordered the salad with figs and blue cheese, which we ordered “à parte” as we’d still have to pay the full price anyway. My dish wasn’t available (seriously?), so I ended up with the steak, which was delicious. Also the Aperol Spritz we had was a delight. The staff was friendly, but none of them knew what vegan means and none spoke English (I unfortunately do not speak Portuguese properly), which in my opinion should be a given thinking of the prices & the posh style/design.

But all in all our dinner was a total disappointment, with my wife being super miserable as the date night was partly ruined. As a foreigner without Portuguese language skills and/or a vegan I would not recommend...

Optamos pro jantar no local especialmente por ter um cardápio que teoricamente se preocupa com questões de intolerâncias alimentares, pois eles possuem indicação de "sem glúten, sem lactose" sou intolerante a glúten não celíaca e só quem entende da doença sabe o quanto é chato sermos iludidos sobre lugares assim. Pedi meu prato sem glúten, tudo ok (apesar de não achar que vale o preço) porém, ao pedir meu drink eles me serviram com um "canudo orgânico" perguntem o que era por desconfiança minha ELES NAO AVISARAM NADA E NAO COLOCAM NADA NO CARDÁPIO DE DRINKS, e pasmem, era um canudo feito de MACARRÃO (pra quem não entende marcarão é glúten/trigo) gente, um restaurante que se propõe a oferecer um cardápio com especificações a intolerâncias alimentares o mínimo é entender que VC TEM QUE AVISAR QUE VAI UM MACARRÃO NO DRINK! e pasmem parte 2, ao reclamar do ocorrido, explicar da minha intolerância, retiraram o macarrão do meu drink e me devolveram. Eu tentando não ter um surto expliquei que não adiantava que precisava ser feito outro. Depois de mil reviravoltas de olho me trouxeram outro, não me senti segura para tomar. Pedi para falar com o responsável do restaurante e o mesmo me disse que não era obrigação nenhuma do restaurante indicar o canudo no drink, que essa era uma opinião minha e que ele iria anotar... olha o garçom que nos atendeu foi muito atencioso, estava de blusa marrom, e fica o meu elogio pois ele não teve nada a ver com tudo isso, já o atendimento desses responsável aí "gerente" foi péssimo. Paguei o drink para ter menos estresse, mas jamais...

The place and the food are generally okay, but the service is absolutely terrible. We waited for our dishes for over an hour and a half, and some of them never arrived at all. The waiters showed zero enthusiasm and didn’t seem to care about anything. When we finally got the bill, it included an item we never even ordered. Not to mention, no one bothered to greet us or say goodbye. Do yourself a favor and look for another place in this wonderful city — there are plenty of great spots with excellent staff and...
