I just had a terrible racism experience in this place today, coming for lunch on a crowded Sunday with my black girlfriend. The scheme is known on Sundays, everyone waits outside and then seats inside by order of arrival. When coming to our time to seat, after 40 minutes waiting peacefully, we were refused the right to order, for some very evasive reason, that we had written the name on the wrong list. Verifying was very easy, just talking with the other people jn the queue would have clarified the situation. But the tone of voice, the aggressivity towards my girlfriend unfortunately left no place to doubt, even if I would not believe it initially. It was a sad case of racist discrimination, which is completely unacceptable. Fortunately, there are now a lot of other ramen places in São Paulo so that we can enjoy the food without having to undergo or even think about this kind of unpleasant feeling. It is always good to know what the restaurant stands for besides the food....
Read moreUndoubtedly the best ramen I've had in Sao Paulo. Took a few friends that have travelled to many Asian countries, and their opinion is the same: amazing. The chef and owner of the place has worked in Japan and studied about western taste in Germany to create a very light and tasteful pork broth. His years abroad most certainly payed off, as his creation is simply amazing. I advise everyone to try the black oil ramen (same as the original, but with garlic oil that adds extra flavor to everything). Extra tyashu and extra noodles are mandatory! Leaving there with space in the stomach is a waste! ;) Also try the appetizers guioza and karaague, which are also amazing!! But be warned: the place has only 8 seats, imitating Tokyo's ramen places, so be sure to arrive early. I'm sure you'll love their food as much as I did!
Edit: still holds true after...

Unfortunately, the broth fell short of expectations—it lacked the velvety, fatty texture that makes a great tonkotsu so comforting. Instead, it leaned more watery and overly salty, missing that deep, savory punch.
On a brighter note, the noodles were excellent, with that perfect snap that ramen enthusiasts crave. The ambiance of the restaurant was equally impressive—modern, cozy, and inviting. The staff were friendly and spoke some English, adding to the overall warm experience. While the ramen wasn't everything I hoped for, the setting and service definitely made it...
