Krispy Kreme — Restaurant in Região Imediata de São Paulo

I read the reviews and many were negative, I went to give it a try knowing it likely wouldn't be my best experience but oh boy, it's just full of wealthy Brazilians bragging about how they have an industrialized donut from the grand ol' US of A, no one even cares about the quality.

I had to wait for the line to clear and then I was called up in what I might say was a weird way compared to other places I've gone to, I took a look at the display and the prices are high as usual here in Brazil, however, for items as cheap to produce as these I found it absurd paying $3 for barely anything and I was constantly coerced into getting a $20 (R$100.00) box of 12 donuts which I truly did not want.

The only donut which seemed somewhere interesting more was the salted caramel cheesecake so I decided to try it and by the time I took barely a minute to decide there was already a huge line behind me, definitely not a great experience always feeling rushed while 2 out of 3 of the totems for ordering yourself were disabled.

So, I got this donut and it was barely put in a small piece of paper and then was put onto and slid across the counter, nothing covering it. The worker wasn't being careful in the slightest and 100% spit on it whilst speaking heavily without care, no consideration to even cover it after taking it out of the display.

I've never seen workers with the appearance of these here, only McDonald's themselves is second to this establishment in that the people they hire appear to be "special" let's just say and not capable.

Let's just say I never got to try a donut and it ruined the hell out of my experience between this and how disgusting pinheiros is with the gigantic open river of sewage, I was red, hot, and feeling weak in this already since smelling such strong sewage on the metro and neighborhood, my god.

Krispy Kreme, if you're reading this, you chose the WRONG neighborhood to put your main store in, as a business person I would have recommended faria lima any day over pinheiros.

I live in Brazil and situations like this make me lose my mind at times, pinheiros is the most judgemental neighborhood I've seen here with people staring at you looking you up and down as if you're a maggot compared to them, Krispy Kreme failed upon their first entry into Brazil and, in my opinion, they should just leave again if this is truly how they are.

Read the other reviews to see the torture other customers/victims have also been through, an absolutely disgusting situation and any place below 4.8 - 4.9 on Google is straight up a red flag with the lower the review becoming the larger the red flag increases.

Gostei. Os donuts são muito fofos, e o Original Glazed recém-saído da esteira é uma coisa diferente de tudo. O de avelã é beeem doce, rs (o Original Glazed também é bem doce. Podia ter uma versão sem cobertura). Ótimo atendimento no dia da inauguração. Equipe bem treinada. Lugar super difícil para estacionar (o preço do serviço de manobrista custa mais do que dois donuts: $25). Na segunda visita, 20 dias após a inauguração, numa segunda-feira às 19h15, foram 45 minutos entre entrar na fila e sair com a compra. O atendimento é lento porque há muito poucos caixas, e dois dos três painéis para pedidos ("totens") estavam desligados. Não parece que a empresa tenha interesse em atender rapidamente. Fosse eu o dono, colocaria urgentemente quiosques em shopping centers. Na terceira visita, 43 dias depois da inauguração, numa quarta-feira, 19h30, fazendo 15 graus, havia umas 20 pessoas na fila dentro da loja, e o atendimento demorou uns 10 minutos. Os 3 painéis para pedidos ("totens") estavam funcionando (1 para atendimento prioritário). Na quarta visita, 50 dias após a inauguração, por volta das 9h30 de um feriado, havia uma fila de cerca 25 minutos. Desta vez experimentei o de "Doce de Leite" (muito bom), o de de canela, "Cinnamon Sugar" (muito bom e menos doce que os demais), o de geleia de morango, "Strawberry Jam Sweetie (bom, mas podia ter mais recheio) e o de chocolate recheado, "Chocolate Vanilla Cream" (bom também). Até o momento, o drive-thru não está funcionando e não há entrega em domicílio. Os donuts básicos, "Original Glazed", são feitos com antecedência, aos milhares. Fui hoje no dia 01/05 e a minha experiência foi péssima não pelos donuts por que eles são uma delícia e sim pelos funcionários e pela organização, fui com a minha bebê de um ano e fui informada na fila que eles não trabalhavam com fila preferencial (já começa aí o erro, pois é lei no Brasil) enfim ficamos mais de duas horas na fila e quando finalmente entramos no local, o mesmo cara que havia informado que não tinha a fila, trouxe uma mulher e seu companheiro para passar na frente e logo em seguida trouxe um outro senhor alegado ser preferencial. Queria entender como funciona o critério para filas preferenciais? Perguntei ao mesmo funcionário e ele disse que cada caso é um caso. Acho isso uma falta de respeito e consideração com os outros clientes. Tinha várias pessoas com bebês e vários idosos também e só os “selecionados” eram considerados preferenciais. Fui falar com o Fernando que seria “ o gerente” e ele disse que tinha sim fila preferencial e que se acontecesse era para procurar ele. O mesmo funcionário que informou da seleção de preferencial disse para mim que o Fernando era o responsável mas para o meu marido disse que era outra pessoa. Um absurdo eles nem sabem quem é o responsável…. Além do mais se for com criança pequena o banheiro não tem nenhum trocador infantil. Eles disse que não estavam preparados mas já é o terceiro dia funcionando. Uma pena pois amos os donuts e não pretendo voltar enquanto as mudanças não...
