Excellent barbecue just like the one in Pinheiros. However, unlike the other restaurant, the service at Slow BBQ in Brooklin is terrible.
The waiters appear to be a band of people that have no idea what they’re doing. Items arrived wrong, accompaniments took so long to arrive that they were only on the table after we had finished eating, and there were several wrong items on the bill as well. The impression that I got was that the waiters didn’t have a clue what they were doing at all. For prices like this, service should be impeccable, but unfortunately, it was terrible.
The food, however, was generally excellent. Aside from the cheesecake which arrived partially frozen, everything was fantastic. The barbecue is succulent, the meats are well flavored and the side dishes are delicious.

The food is terrible. There was so much salt on the brisket that I could feel the salt crystals. A good brisket does not need salt and pepper added after smoking. The pulled pork was meh.
The menu is designed in a way to limit the customer’s ability to have more than one type of meet at a time. The restaurant itself feels generic.
