Very very very disappointed. One of my worst dining experiences in my world travels. Astounded at an overall 4+ rating..

1. Waiters and staff appeared unhappy and angry. Extremely slow clear time of plates. They allowed plates to stack up on our table. We had to waive down waiters multiple times to clear our plates. In addition they would rush slicing of the meats. There were other individuals from our table who also wanted slices, but the waiters would ignore them and rush away - this happened multiple times. Keep in mind the restaurant was only about 15-20% full during a weekday afternoon when we visited. No excuse for such poor service.

2. Food was extremely salty or extremely sweet. Cooked intentionally this way to upsell water possibly? Water was overpriced at 20R per bottle. See other reviews mentioning the same issue.

3. In addition, the desserts had hidden charges. No staff mentioned any additional charges for desserts. It was noted only on the bill that there are also 2 tiers of desserts. 26R and 29R. I had only wanted to try a tiny spoonful of a pie and was charged 29R - not once was additional price or dessert tiers shared with us. When we mentioned these surprise charges to the manager, they simply said "next time you will know". Utterly unbelievable.

4. Food is NOT fresh. Maybe this is due to time of day we visited and lack of customers.. which is understandable.

Main complaint is that the dessert was an extra charge that resulted in approximately 15% extra in price (essentially tacked on 100 Brazilian Reals on top of ~600 Brazilian Reals for the regular meal). That alone would have been acceptable if the restaurant was honest and upfront about this; however, no staff member informed us that dessert was not included, we only found this out with the final bill. The dessert wasn't anything special; easily skippable (especially for the price).

The dessert is laid out buffet-style like everything else; hence, it's presented to the customers as if it were included, and I think it would be a logical and common mistake for anyone to assume the dessert was included. I'm sure, we're not the only ones to have made this mistake.
