What a gem my husband and I discovered tonight—tucked away in the heart of Sofia, yet delightfully peaceful, is a charming French crêperie that transported us straight to France.

From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warm, attentive service that made us feel at home. The menu offered a delightful range of choices, and we opted for the vegetarian crêpe and another with goat cheese and sun-dried tomatoes. Both were absolutely delicious—fresh, perfectly balanced, and generously filled.

The experience was elevated by the relaxing music and the cosy ambience—such a rare find in a central but quiet part of the city. This place is a true hidden treasure for anyone craving authentic French flavours without leaving Sofia.

A truly incredible restaurant with amazing food and a welcoming owner. I craved crepes one day and decided to visit Le Soleil based on the great reviews. I immediately understood the reason for the 5-star comments by so many visitors.

The owner (Ivan) is incredibly friendly and makes you feel at home. You can tell he truly values your experience and the quality of the food.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the latte at Le Soleil - and was very happy by the delicious crepe.

I visited soon after with my girlfriend who also commented on how friendly the staff was and the yummy menu items.

Did you know that crepes make you happy? If not, you should definitely visit Le Soleil! We had a great time! Welcoming and attentive service, big portions, good prices and terrific taste! Ladies working there are sweethearts! We had a savory crepe each which are very filling and satisfying but couldn’t leave without trying a sweet one and shared apple cinnamon! This place is suitable for breakfast/brunch or any time of the day really! There’re options to sit inside so you can enjoy the AC or outside in fresh air.
