Vita Rama Vegan Restaurant — Restaurant in Sofia City

In a nutshell: The idea of ordering healthy food (cooked without oil) is brilliant. The execution is terrible.

In a nutshell: It has been a frustrating & a time-wasting experience to deal with the constant mistakes on Vita Rama's end during the 5 months we ordered from them (from June to October included). Their staff is also not well-trained to keep a good company standard, such as acknowledgment for the customer's situation, taking accountability & doing sth. to improve based on feedback.

Pros: They often make big discounts (up to 20%) on their website. It's very easy to make a big order on the website as you see a complete overview of the days of delivery as well as the quantity of menus. Vita Rama's team assists you if you need to change the delivery dates, quantity of food or address. The food has a good effect on the body: no bloating & gives you a lot of energy.

Cons:

The courrier assigned to our address complained on the phone the first time we spoke how she has to climb stairs which is terrible (very unprofessional and unnecessary.) On her second visit, she refused to go up deliver the food & argued with me that "It's too time-consuming if there's no elevator." Although Vita Rama's promise on their website is "delivery to door". And I have paid for such. Plus, no offense, but the courrier is not old or anything, just a very negative person who complains all the time... I know because we had an older courrier from a competitor of Vita Rama & the man was nothing but punctual & kind. Big difference in attitude. She also gave the excuse that there was nowhere to park... Well, surprise... Everyone in Sofia has that problem. Shouldn't be an excuse for not doing your job, should it?! On another occasion we were out running an errand & were not home & the courrier rang on the phone. I couldn't pick up immediately & called JUST a minute later, asking her to deliver the food to which she yelled, "Oh, great because of you now I have to come back." Her level of training or people skills are clearly non-existent... No basic respect. Not speaking normal. No accountability. Basically an adult who makes up excuses & blames others... I called to the Food Delivery department lady multiple time & wasted a good 3+ hours telling about mistakes such as food missing from our orders & so on. The courrier also brought us the wrong orders of someone else 3 times... She, of course, didn't bother to look at the name. When I called her & told her politely, she said, "Offfff, they order them in such a stupid way." Blaming again. I received no compensation or even apology for the way the corrier screwed up multiple times. The food delivery lady even told me, "We ask for a little understanding." I don't know if that's a lack of awareness, considering everything that happened, but it's not fair to ask. And not an adequate answer either. She also told me I shouldn't get affected if the courrier speaks like that cuz it just the way she is (a stupid excuse of a person or company don't have basic training standards-you're in the service industry, it's not just dropping food off). What completely ruined it for us was the delivery the other day where the courrier was LATE, & we were checking if the food is there. The courrier didn't give us a ring. We waited for a long time. When the food arrived it was in broken paper bags & fell on the floor... I called the food delivery department again because this is unacceptable. The usual lady who likes to talk a lot but doesn't really provide solutions started arguing with me that the courrier actually told her she delivered on time, even rang the bell & heard it... Pure BS. No apology, no nothing.

After that we asked for a refund. And this is the last time I spend time on Vita Rama.

I DO NOT recommend the food delivery at all. Save your money,...

Too bad I cannot give that place half of a star, 10 months ago I did post a five stars comment here ! because we were pleased with the food at the restaurant, and since then , I often went there to buy the Seeking health vitamins and minerals supplement, and listen to this , EVERY single time, literally every time , as soon as you are about to pay they tell you that the price is not the one that is on the box , every single time they made that trick , today was the last time they do it to me, today they asked me 25lev on top of the price that was on the bottle, and every time they have a good "reason" to explain why , it not serious, not professional, never again with those scammers .

I recently dined at Vita Rama, and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience from start to finish..

The freshness of the ingredients was immediately apparent in every dish.
