Chuchura Restaurant — Restaurant in Varna

It was one of the worst service at my life. Even though she welcomed us and showed the table, the waitress didn’t show up to bring the menu. We waited more than 10 mins and then asked and finally could get the menu. We have ordered chicken soup (which is more likely minestroni), roasted lamb (that was delicious), lamb kawarma (had lots of onion in it), shepherd salad and rice. After serving the soup, she didn’t even bring the fork and knife until we ask. The rice was too much oily, shepherd salad was far away from being tasty. I don’t know how this place got that much pretty comment, in my opinion it doesn’t deserve any of this. Find another place for yourself and eat...

Mediocre food and service at best. And this is me being extremely generous considering that I am not a picky eater. Had a tarator with 3 days old dill. It was green but dried out and shrivelled. The waitress kept forgetting our orders (5 of us) and we where there for lunch. It took more than an hour an a half to get all our food out. And when it came the french fries where not only store-bought but cold. The meatballs that where advertised as "with cheese and bacon filling" - had ham in them and not a trace of cheese. Last but not least - for over 20 minutes the waitress did not show and I had to go look for her and ask...

The food here probably ranks amongst the best in the city.

Top traditional cuisine, in large portions, at really affordable prices. I could not have asked for a better first night meal in Varna.

What lost this place one star was the wait-staff attitude. Even though the service was prompt, and there weren't any issues, I just don't enjoy feeling resented for eating at a restaurant.
