Duplex Belgian Tavern ឌូផ្លិច ប៊ែលជិន — Restaurant in Khan Boeng Keng Kang

Great location on 278 and good variety of music and live bands but soooo many hookers and trashy ladies it really makes me want to take a shower when I get home. And an owner who (or manager maybe not sure) bragging he can sleep with any Khmer woman in Phnom Penh just for $100 maximum?!?! Yeah because they are all so poor and just don't want their kids being hungry the next day...not because they actually enjoy that!

Across the street is Tusk. I like the new owner she took dreadful grandpa's boring florida retirement village hotel and made it fun and hip. I hope more people give them a shot sometimes. Tusk has so much potential.

P.s. don't confuse downstairs with up and club Love. After you go home and shower off hooker and 50 year old Belgium guy sweat you can definitely come back to 278 and go to club Love. It has a very cool vibe. Just watch out for extremely intoxicated barangs sometimes...yikes!

I give Love 4 star review and Tusk 4 star too but Duplex only 2 cause the food and music alone is 4 stars so that tell you just how bad their hooker problem is when overall it equal only 2. The hookers maybe get - minus 1 so...

4 stars and a half. Big change and effort from the management and owner. Totally renewed! Only aspects to improve:

Service standars in food or drinks presentation.

Customer service manners and approach to the customer. (But Looks like is challenging for all the restaurants in Phnom Penh to find skilled staff with interpersonal skills, its so important to know how to approach and be polite). I know that Duplex is working hard to improve and the manager and owner are very kind receiving the feedback from the customers.

Everybody knows Duplex, and so far all the comments i heard recently are positive.

Without a doubt one of the absolute best places to go for a drink, food, live music, salsa ambience in Phnom Penh.

Always a great atmosphere, great staff, good selection of good and drinks, the largest selection of Belgian beers on offer in Cambodia.

Great if you're flying solo, you're bound to meet someone, great for couples, groups... And when that time of the night has come to find entertainment elsewhere, you can head upstairs to Club...
