HighGround Sky Bar — Restaurant in Khan Boeng Keng Kang

This is the best roof top bar & dinner place in Phnom Penh. Why? The ambiance, the design, all corners with different tables and chairs gives you choice where to sit. Bar is on the side, so it is real roof top, not a bar-centered terrace:) Also the food! Wow! Food is well selected, pretty good choice of different dishes, prepared impeccable tasty! Very good selection of spirits and wine, best price of Moet et Chandon and... Finally... The service! Service is just perfect! They speaks English, they understand what you want and they are well trained! I will give you one example: this is the only place in Cambodia where if you order single malt whisky, they will give you whisky straight and pure and they will bring additional glace with big rock of ice for cooling the staff and bring it back to original glace. Ok, of course they have 2 minuses :) They don't have champagne glasses and serve it in white wine glasses (but again it is worth it for the price) and they serve single malt in cognac glasses. I am surviving with this fact especially with such s service! Congratulations to all staff...

The food was good and the valentines cocktails we had were very nice. View is great, it is a really lovely place. The experience wasn't perfect though, I made a booking on Wednesday for Valentines day on Friday. I made my reservation through Telegram and stated that I would like seats with a good view. I received a confirmation message via WhatsApp and a photo of what the decorations would look like and they confirmed that we would be seated in a nice area. Unfortunately upon arrival my name was not on the booking list. I showed them the reservation on my phone and they let us through. We ended up getting a table that made us feel like we were squeezed in. It was very hot and a fan was blowing fully on the table behind us, we asked if we could also have a fan twice and they said they would see what they could do, but we never got a fan.

Furthermore more drinks took about 30min to arrive at the table. Food came fast, food came before the drinks. Second time two cocktails and two bottles of water also took about 30min.

For Cocktails, buy one get one free available on Monday and Thursday, they have the largest selection of Cocktails , some only available from The HighGround Sky Bar and restaurant Phnom Penh Cambodia 🇰🇭 They have specials every night , if bad weather they have a backup Sky Bar and restaurant Undercover. I'm an Australian Guy lived in Phnom Penh Cambodia since (2004) ( 19 years) I'm also very hard too please 🙏, I try and find faults with every place I visit.
