Sookdal Korean Restaurant(Phnom Penh) 숙달 — Restaurant in Khan Boeng Keng Kang

Sookdal is a must go if you love Korean cuisine.

Staying at Anik Palace hotel so decided to try Sookdal which was only a 5 minute stroll away.

What a delight! Felt like I was transported to Korea for an authentic meal!

We had the $49 galbi and pork belly set that includes mussel soup, acorn jelly, grilled cheese, pineapple, and king oyster. Premium meat grilled to perfection but they had me at Acorn Jelly (personal favorite). If I had to complain, it would be the mussel soup - nothing wrong with it, just not a personal preference.

Compared to most meals in PP, this would seem expensive but coming from Singapore, I found it to be excellent value for the quality and authenticity.

Overall, an excellent meal and look forward to going back for more before we leave PP.

Best Korean BBQ ever! Miles above any Korean we’ve had in Australia. The staff here make you feel valued and all the food we had was delicious. Huge banchan portions. The pork jowl, beef brisket, LA ribs, grilled cheese, and kimchi-jjigae were all amazing. I love that they’ll cook everything for you outside so that you don’t smell like food for the rest of the day. A well-oiled and tasty machine. Everything was timed perfectly and efficiently without sacrificing quality. Highly recommend if you’re craving Korean in Phnom Penh! There was a parking lot for the restaurant for the restaurant across the street. It got very busy as we were leaving so probably best to make a booking as they were turning some...

Went there with some friends and we just loved the place.

Service wise, the owner and the staffs were very accommodating. They gave us a private room so we can have a privacy.

Food wise, one word - heavenly. We ordered the set for 4 and we were really glad we ordered the set. The meat were tender and juicy. One of the staffs cooked them for us. Side dishes were superb and we were given some refills when we asked. Their radish and kimchi were really great to avoid getting satiated. Some sweet desserts were given. Perhaps part of the set as well.

It's a bit pricey than other Korean restaurants, but it's really worth it. Service, ambience, and food quality...
