BKK I Dae Jang Geum Restaurant (대장금 벙켕콩) — Restaurant in Khan Boeng Keng Kang

NOT going to spend anymore dollar for this restaurant. Neither both of their branches. There are more better restaurants than this!

Spent about $230+ on dining-in lunch for 2-adults and 2-children. Worst experience encountered in years for a Korean BBQ, what’s worst is, we asked for side dishes refill, after 3-rounds, as we were to asking for 4th refills, the waitress told us the number of dishes we ordered only limit the refills. Seriously?!

FYI, their side dishes portion are rather small comparing to others.

With that amount of dollar spent, also numbers of good Korean BBQ restaurants in town, such as Le Seoul and more.. at least every dollar...

This is one of those places a lot of Koreans seem to recommend. Finally went and it was good - lots of private rooms and the service and the side dishes were great. To be perfectly honest I’m not sure I ordered well - I had the nengmyun, which I later learned is very intentionally a bit bland as it’s really an after-meal-meal (meaning don’t order it alone and probably best if you had loads of drinks beforehand? Obviously I do not know) so I’ll have to revise this review once I go and...

Had a pretty good lunch here with my Korean friend. The varieties of banchan were good ranging from kimchi, spiced okra to pancakes. We ordered the 250 gram beef.
