It was 10:30 in the morning, and despite not feeling hungry, a captivating aroma drew me in while walking Barney. An old man at the intersection was smoking up the street making chicken for the restaurant. Intrigued, I had to give it a try. Surprisingly, the chicken was exceptionally delicious—solid 10 out of 10! The service was commendable, and the location had its charm. However, the disappointment came with the cold rice, a common issue in many eateries here in Cambodia. As much as I wanted to give a five-star rating, serving cold rice isn't acceptable. Sorry, but there's room for improvement. Keep up the great chicken, but a warmer side would certainly earn you that perfect score! As always...

This place was maybe good five years ago but should be avoided at all costs now. We had fried rice and Lok lak and weren't even be able to get halfway through our food. The rice came out crusty and hard and the vegetables we're dried out or unripe. It seems that the food had been sitting hours before being slightly warmed up and served. The sauce on the Lok lak tasted foul and I do not believe the food was safe to eat. There are many places in the city with better quality food for the same price or cheaper, don't let the Khmer artwork and atmosphere decieve you, it's safer to eat anywhere...
Read moreMy wife and regularly used to eat here 5 years ago. On our recent visit we found that the place has changed drastically and not for the better. The food tasted old, like it hadn’t been freshly prepared. The service was less than average with the servers appearing less than interested, surprising given we were the only diners. The tablecloths were threadbare with holes and no evidence of recent cleaning. Overall it’s a 1 star, given begrudgingly given the former preferred status it once enjoyed. Do not eat here when there are literally hundreds of alternatives within a few...
