One of the best resto if you want to try the authentic Khmer Food in Phnom Penh.

I actually find this resto from the gmaps, so I don't know what to expect. At first I thought this is middle eastern food, but it isn't. They serve Khmer-Thai food and some western food too.

Since I never test the trully Khmer food before, I try the chicken amok and Khmer tofu curry, both served with rice. For the side dish, I order sweet corn fritter. And guess what? It's really good. The amok is little bit sweet and the curry more salty or savory. But the sweet corn fritter is the best, it's seasoned perfectly, it's even good without the sauce. But the food actually not very suitable for the Phnom Penh weather, because we sweating alot after that.

The place is not too big, and didn't have any air conditioner, only fan. But the interior quite unique, with some customers comment wall from around the world. I haven't try the wifi, but there's not much power outlet available. They also serve cocktail and some alcohol too if you want. Unfortunately they only accept cash, both...

Great food in the middle of foreign street

Food 1.9-Star 100/10 Straight out the best Fish Amok we have tried in Cam by far. Closest taste to grandma's Fish Amok. Well-balanced soup with nice pieces of fish fillet, flavorful, and aromatic touch. Vietnamese, we say "Hao cơm" (can't stop eating with steam rice) 🤤 8/10 Stir-fry eggplant. Easy to eat veggie dish, not oily, and love the fried garlic scent. 10/10 Another "Hao cơm" dish, Morning glory soup. Sweet and sour tamarind based soup, kinda like tom-yum, but not. Still crunchy morning glory, very easy to eat flavorful, mouthwatering soup. Try to mix steam rice in the soup and enjoy 😉 hands down comfort local dish. 10/10 Refreshing lime juice, just not too much if you currently have a weak tummy (hard to resist when it's a hot day)

Price 0.7-Star High price for local food, but at least the quality is 👌🏻

Service 1.0-Star Swift, friendly, English speaking staff

Environment 1.0-Star Cute and unique little place in the middle of crowded foreign taste pleaser street

Overall 4.6 🌟 Love it 🥰...

Located in the heart of Phnom Penh, serving good food and service here around the corner. I am just a simple and Asian traveler who first will try to have some local food and then more of it if they all taste good to me. I ordered Fish Amok which is their national food here in Cambodia and it tastes so good that brings me back to have another one. Then, the next day, I came back, ordered Fish fried rice and Noodle soup which satisfied my hunger for the whole afternoon. Not only the food is delicious, but the price, the way they serve, and the atmosphere of the surroundings brought me a good vibe to enjoy my time here in Phnom Penh. Furthermore, Mr. Smey had a really humble and friendly kinda vibe to the customers like me so highly recommend anyone who can’t find a good place to eat yet, come here to experience what I...
