During my recent trip to Cambodia, I had the pleasure of discovering a local restaurant that truly deserves special recognition. The atmosphere is warm and authentic, with impeccable service and incredibly friendly staff who are always happy to recommend dishes and share the stories behind traditional Cambodian recipes.

But the real star here is the food: outstanding local cuisine, crafted with care and made from fresh, high-quality ingredients. The absolute highlight for me were the homemade dumplings — without a doubt the best I’ve had in Cambodia. Perfectly cooked, flavorful, and clearly made with love, they alone are worth the visit.

We were enticed to come into this restaurant due to the owners warming and friendly nature and are we glad we did! The food was incredible, highly recommend the Chicken Amok! I would say with certainty that it is one of the best dishes I’ve ever had, so much so we returned again for it!

For the most part, the restaurant next door is often busier but no means better. And again, I’d like to reiterate how welcoming and friendly the owner is, who spoke incredibly good English, good humour and helpful and this also extends to the people who work there, never without a smile.
