Kungfu Kitchen 家常便饭 (Daun Penh) — Restaurant in Khan Daun Penh

I really the food and soup at Kungfu. I have been to a few branches, mostly the place ,service , food always good at the same place. But this time I experience at KF Duan Penh was made me disappointed. This afternoon 15-Feb-2025, the restaurant doesn't seem busy I travel long way to have lunch and request for a suitable table to sit and enjoy my meal and the staff told me to seat at the counter closed to the kitchen as they only sever table to for big group of customers (more than 3-4 person can sit there). I was unexpected to hear this, why should I sit at the counter watch KF staff do the dishing or cooking? I disclaim to sit in a suitable spot and enjoy my meal for just 30min - 1h wouldn't bother thier customer to come in. I don't mind to sit at the counter if the restaurant is crowded or fully booked. But the problem is they decide to let a single customer to leave give the table to big group of customer. I was there at first and expect the get a better experience but it ruined my day. After I left , another staff came out to me that that table is hot ....... that's insane they don't come to excuse but for complain......if it hot should put extra AC or Fan........ Finally, I left to raintree branch even it small but I can sit everywhere in peace and...

Was very disappointed after eating here, as we were excited by the 4.8 star rating. The dishes just aren’t as flavorful as other hotpot places and the dumplings were soggy and unsatisfying.

The major negative factors to my review are: there was a small mosquito on the pork meat we were served. When we pointed it out to the waitress she initially just said “it’s okay” before finally taking it back to the kitchen very hard to get the servers attention it’s so hot and uncomfortable inside from the boiling pots
