Oscar on the Corner—not to be confused with Oskar on the Riverside, which is an entirely different experience. This one has live music upstairs, a dingy atmosphere, and a vibe that doesn’t quite live up to its own hype. I honestly don’t know how they arrived at the “best damn bar” claims—the allure escapes me.

Still, they’re putting in the effort, and that counts for something. 3/5 stars for trying. Would I go back?...
