After having gone to this McDonald's numerous times, be assured it deserves a review of only one⭐.
The two main problems are equally important:
The staff. Each visit I've observed *numerous staff 'on duty'—though that expression doesn't really apply to a bunch of indifferent teenagers milling about, ignoring customers who are patiently waiting at the counter. Whichever random teenager this franchise owner appoints as 'manager', they clearly don't deserve the title. The behaviour of all those being paid to show up for their shifts is identical to watching them standing around their high-school hallways shooting the breeze, totally indifferent to the world around them. NOT acceptable.
The filth. As has been mentioned numerous times by others, the level of dirt, old food residue, fecal and urinary matter on every surface is over the top, even by current 'all-public-places-are-dirty' standards. Clogged toilets, overflowing with feces and who-knows-what are almost guaranteed on each visit. (And they already only buzz customers into the washrooms!?). Smeared, sticky tables, counters, knobs, drink area, glass surfaces........your immune system is guaranteed a workout even if you only walk in and straight back out.
Other problems range from inaccurate orders to skimping on the serving sizes (at least fill up the darn microscopic french fries bag!).
Regrettably, nothing here will change, since: a) This has been going on for years, b) McDonald's (the company) obviously never forces their franchisees to uphold even minimal standards of service or cleanliness, and c) Gullible customers keep patronizing this location, making its franchise owner pot-fulls of money, despite the ongoing problems. He obviously doesn't care, since people keep throwing their money away.....in...
Read moreFamily ordered food from the kiosks indoors on two separate kiosks and both orders got messed up :(
The first order was two McDoubles (both with extra patties), small fries, small drink and a wrap. Unfortunately one of the extra patties were missing.
The second order was two cheeseburger happy meals (one with cantaloupes), a jr chicken meal (with an added tomato), and a snack wrap. Unfortunately the one happy meal did not get cantaloupes and the jr chicken ended up being a cheeseburger with no tomato. (Honestly the kid was probably the most bummed about the cantaloupes)
I don’t normally complain, but since so much got messed up (let alone it being in two back to back orders) I gave them a call to politely let them know.
The first lady I talked with hung up on me shortly, which was a bit frustrating as I did not yell at all and did my best to let them know politely, so it hopefully wouldn’t happen to other people’s orders.
I called again and Nick picked up the phone. He was quite polite and he figured out which were my orders and asked what I had wanted him to do in a polite manner. In all honesty I had just hoped to let them know so they hopefully wouldn’t do that to other peoples orders.
Like I understand one mistake every once in a while, we’re all human. But there were multiple mistakes in two back to back orders, so I was a bit bummed.
I would’ve given 1 star, but Nick was very kind polite and helpful, he even offered a McDouble meal.
Hopefully this McDonald’s doesn’t make as many errors in...
Read moreMy husband and I went to the drive thru at 1am on Thursday to get coffee and at the same time wanted to purchase a gift card . Explained the lady at the window that we will load the gift card first then purchase our coffee on the gift card. It was so hard for her to understand what we wanted. She kept charging us for the card plus the coffee. My husband again told her that we will pay from the gift card only. She became so rude and started yelling and talking very loud and shaking her head as if we were wrong. She was telling another co worker who was up in the dine in that customer is changing his mind again and again. She wasn’t understanding what we wanted and she was blaming us . When I asked for her name she quickly went on the side and took her name tag out. When I asked if I can speak with the manager for her behaviour she said she is the manager. And she is not allowed to give her name out . Why are you wearing a name tag ? Are the managers supposed to behave like this? Employees are very nice at this location but seems like managers are too frustrated. I didn’t expect this kind of behaviour from a manager. Looks like she needs more training. The restaurant manager should know which manager was at the drive thru at 1am on Thursday morning. Very unhappy with the service provided . Plus the coffee we got was cold . Didn’t even bother going back . VERY RUDE...
