Pita Pit — Restaurant in Barrie

Updated review. I normally dont leave reviews but i take my pita pit seriously. I went to try pita pit again, I called ahead and asked if they had real shredded cheddar and they said they did. It is not. Your staff should know what they're selling. It taste like nothing and the texture is disgusting. Lol i paid extra for fake shredded cheese. What a joke.

The new crew working is not great at customer service. I miss the old crew. Two ladies were upset at another coworker. Openly talking about it in front of me. About something that really wasnt a big deal. My experience of pita pit is ruined, I will not be coming back anymore. I liked the food because it was mostly fresh and unprocessed. The service was good. Now its just the same as anywhere else. Highly dont recommend, better places out there.

Real shredded cheese makes my experience of eating a pita so much better. So much so that I can't eat it without real shredded chedder! Processed cheese makes me feel sick, when I bought a pita last time I thought they got shredded cheese back but it tasted like nothing! Caused me stomach problems which is unusual for pita pit. I went back a week later and asked about it, it was processed shredded cheese. Needless to say, i didn't get pita pit. We pay so much for pita pit but i always found it worth it. Bring the good cheese...

Wow wow wow!! This place has blown me away! I have a gluten allergy and once I ordered a gluten free pita their first words were "is it a preference or an allergy" when I told them it was an allergy they immediately separated my pita from the rest of my order. When asking for my toppings they first asked if I wanted everything taken from the bottom of the containers so it limited the risk of cross contamination or if I was okay with it coming off the top. When I told them the top was okay they proceeded to take my toppings and placed everything in a plastic container and informed everyone working that there is a gluten allergy and not to touch the container without clean gloves. They also asked if my pita was okay to go in the steamer and if I was okay with it on the press. I was blown away with their attention to detail and how serious they took my order. The veggies are nice...but THEY NEED TO ACTUALLY GIVE US WHAT WE PAY FOR ((( THE BACON AND CHICKEN))on the 🐔 Ceasar.. 2 of the most Teeny Tiny slivers of bacon and a couple of chunks of chicken.. isn't worth the $20 pita!! Be less cheap!!..load the meat..wtf is wrong with the world now. Also, they barely warm up/ cook the absolute cheap little excuse for meats before putting them on the pita..bacon's cold and gross and chicken chunks are cold.. NOT GOOD ENOUGH.

Do better please 🙏 If I'm spending my time and gas money to drive there, to pay $20 just for a pita..it BETTER have more then 5 chunks of cold chicken and 2 Tiny slices of bacon.. come on now, don't turn into Tim Hortons and cheap everything that should be...
