On my most recent visit, I was greeted by the delightful Chrissy. Her genuine smile and friendly demeanor instantly made me feel at ease. After some deliberation, Chrissy recommended the Hong Kong Spice sauce, assuring me it was a staff favorite. Trusting her expertise, I took the plunge, and I'm so glad I did!
My stir-fry arrived piping hot, the tantalizing aroma filling the air. The noodles were perfectly cooked, with a delightful chewiness. The fresh vegetables – crisp broccoli, snappy carrots, and sweet peppers – retained their vibrant colors and textures. I opted for chicken, which was tender and generously portioned.
And then, the sauce! The Hong Kong Spice delivered a symphony of flavors – a subtle sweetness, a touch of savory richness, and a lingering, pleasant heat. It was the perfect balance, enhancing the other ingredients without overpowering them.
Throughout my meal, Chrissy checked in to ensure I was enjoying everything, refilling my drink without prompting. Her attentiveness made the experience even more enjoyable.
Wok Box offers an excellent value proposition. The portions are substantial, and the prices are incredibly reasonable, especially given the quality of the food and service. Whether you're looking for a quick, flavorful lunch or a casual dinner spot, Wok Box hits the mark.
I left Wok Box feeling happy, satisfied, and eager to return to experiment with new flavor combinations. If you appreciate fresh, customizable noodle dishes served in a bright, friendly space, put Wok Box at the top of your list. And when you do, be sure to ask for Chrissy – she'll take excellent...
Read moreTried ordering online but the order could not be fulfilled due to closing time so we decided to go in and order. I had my heart set on the Hong Kong Spice noodles because it was the best sounding dish that could be made Vegan. However when I went into the store I noticed that the vegan indicator was not beside Hong Kong Noodle on their wall menu nor the take out menu. This got me worried and I asked why it was different from online? To which I got a reply I don’t know I’ll have to say something. So I asked what would make it not vegan? The lady said it must be something in the sauce. I was confused because online had said it could be made vegan and had I ordered it online I would have been eating a non vegan dish. Unacceptable. The staff were friendly but not informative on anything except confirming that I could order the Fireceacker bowl without bacon. So I ordered that with vegan chicken and extra veggies. Unless you like a sloppy mess of sweet sauce with your noodles I would stay away from this dish. It was so sweet, so soupy, I ordered and paid for extra veggies but I received none. Not one single piece of broccoli, peppers, nothing. It’s almost like they avoided putting veggies. When I opened it at home I was very disappointed. I had about 8 carrots in my dish and some cabbage and green onions and a bunch of sauce. Even more disappointing was the taste. It was so sweet it was inedible. There was no spice to it at all. I had to rinse my food and make my own peanut sauce to put on just so I could eat dinner. Please do better informing your staff of dietary restrictions and fulfilling orders correctly. This was a complete waste of my...
Read moreI ordered a birthday day dinner for my wife and I, two kung pao chickens. We open the boxes only to find one of them has nice proper long strips of chicken in a decent quantity, making for a well-balanced, proper meal. The other one on the other hand came with these tiny scrap looking pieces of chicken and little quantity, making for a super low in protein meal, for a dish highlighted by its chicken. Probably had the equivalent of half a drumstick worth of chicken in the whole meal. Absolutely ridiculous. I called the restaurant the next day with video and picture evidence, and politely explained what had happened, knowing it could've been an innocent mistake, and the manager said they would review the situation. They then email me later on saying that they checked their camera footage, and concluded that their employees did nothing wrong and that they weren't going to do anything about it. So, answered back and sent the video and pictures, and wrote a tactful and sincere reply, and the extent of what they offered is a 10% credit for next time... not even enough to cover the tax. The way they take their customers for idiots, and do not have any remorse for their errors, or care for customer satisfaction is baffling. Even McDonald's has better customer service than that! I would 100% not recommend to anybody. Side note, the food itself is nothing to special in the slightest either. Not worth it at all. What you see in the photo is exactly every piece in the whole dish... not enough protein for anybody, not...
