As someone who follows a one meal a day routine for weight loss, I have discovered a true culinary haven at Heritage Fish & Chips, located at 295 Queen St E, Brampton. This place has become my ultimate go-to spot whenever I want to indulge in a satisfying and healthy meal.

For my weight loss journey, I stick to their delightful grilled salmon dish paired with boiled veggies and half mashed potato with gravy. This combination perfectly caters to my protein needs while keeping my calorie intake in check. The best part is, they never disappoint me. Each visit leaves me feeling satiated and content, all without compromising on flavor.

Out of all the Heritage Fish & Chips locations I've tried, this particular one stands out as the top choice. The taste and freshness of their food are consistently outstanding, and the ambiance of the restaurant adds to the overall pleasant experience.

The fact that the owner personally runs this location is truly commendable. It reflects his commitment to maintaining the highest standards in food quality and service. Unlike other places I've tried in the past, this restaurant ensures that their raw materials are top-notch, making it the perfect place for my weight loss goals.

The staff here deserves special mention as well specially Kristie and another tall lady I miss her name, They are always friendly, helpful, and accommodating, which makes my dining experience even more enjoyable. Their attentiveness and willingness to cater to specific requests make me feel valued...

For the last two times we were there it was SO OBVIOUS that 'something' must have changed. Couldn't figure out what it was , we only order vegan stuff, like fries, steamed veggies, caleslaw and beet salad. How complicated is that. Hm. Well, seems like in their kitchen, just for these basics, SOMETHING went ABSOLUTELY wrong. Fries looked and tasted like an old partialy dry mash, which I was considering sending back, but my wife suggested we remain positive. So I did. Everything arrived at the same time as our waiter promised, but there were few more BUTS occurred after started eating the steamed veggies that were a bit over cooked, the worse part was that there was a long dark hair under that pile. I should have left and just that, but my wife suggested we remain positive, so I pointed out to the waiter about the hair issue, which he appologeticly replaced, hm, but few minutes later, I discovered a piece of chicken between my fries ... So. Hm. They were replaced as you can imagine, but from this to that this place lost it's authentic charm, maybe due to their unsuccessful NEW cook/chef whatever, I was fully charged for this WHOLE disgraceful meal... And I must say: See something? SAY SOMETHING. (Go watch DRYBAR comedy, Mal Hall said it and we were laughing to tears.) Not sure about any stars to this place. An another Shameful Brampton dump. No Thank you. Bye bye...

I've been going here for quite a number of years and the value for money just can't be beat. The quantity and quality of food are pretty good as well. The lunch hour is always busy, and the service is fast and friendly. My favourite item is the Fish and Chips, naturally. The Batter is perfectly seasoned, nice and crisp...the perfect texture to complement soft flakey fish. The Chips are thick cut with a nice bite, soft on the inside - just what they should be.
