On a sweltering summer evening, I decided to try Vesuvio Ristorante in Brampton, and it turned out to be a truly delightful experience despite the heat. The restaurant’s cozy, inviting atmosphere is enhanced by its charming pizza oven, which, while contributing to the warmth, adds an authentic touch to the dining experience.
From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and friendliness by the owner and staff. The level of service was impeccable; everyone was attentive and eager to ensure that my dining experience was enjoyable. The owner’s genuine hospitality made me feel right at home, and it was clear that the staff took great pride in their work.
The food at Vesuvio Ristorante was absolutely outstanding. I ordered one of their signature dishes, and the flavors were exquisite. The pizza, with its perfectly crisp crust and fresh, high-quality toppings, was so delicious that I struggled to finish it, even though I wanted to savor every bite. Each dish seemed to be crafted with care and expertise, making it clear why this restaurant has such a strong following.
Even though the temperature inside was a bit high due to the pizza oven, it was well worth it for the exceptional food and service. Vesuvio Ristorante has earned a special place in my heart, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit. If you’re in Brampton and craving incredible Italian cuisine, this gem is definitely worth a stop. Highly...
Read moreI am a bit late to give my review about my visit to this restaurant. It was me my wife and my son who visited the place in the early evening after our visit to the nearby park. The place was already having some small party where most of the staff was busy. We ordered a pizza and one pasta along with goblets of wine. The wine was great, but a great minus was the food. Pizza was dripping with too much oil (enough to increase the cholesterol in the body) which I haven't seen anywhere else in the world even when I lived in Europe (Italy) most of my time in abroad. Still, we tested ourselves to grease our livers with that pizza. The pasta was also not up to the mark as it had burnt chicken toppings which were carbonized and tasted bitter, which they had to take out when I complained to the service lady. The fun part owner of the restaurant seems a friendly guy boasting about his old days and being the first Italian restaurant in Brampton, but he failed to realize where the food taste going in the current time. Pricing: In comparison to the food I felt it is overpriced, we paid 100 plus CAD. Ambiance: Congested does not have a proper seating plan. Staff: apart from a few young ones rest seemed slow. Service: Slow and delayed (Expect good weight time to get served) Overall Verdict: Location and Old Legacy which is getting tarnished. Still, my visit was in last Autumn and I hope the situation would have...
Read moreWe came here for a date night out after constantly driving by and always wanting to try the food, and am i ever so glad we did!
For starters they have live music Fridays and Saturdays, thats a plus when you want great ambiance!
The service was speedy and super incredible, Angela was our server and she made us feel right at home. She was very friendly and helpful and she took the best care of us. And she also made some great reccomendations!
For a starter we ordered the Gamberi Mamma Mia! Which is shrimp sautéed in a spicy tomato sauce, the shrimp was nice and tender and the sauce had a strong but not overbearing kick to it.
For our mains we ordered the Penne alla vodka and the Pollo Picatta.
The vodka sauce with the penne was rich and creamy and pasta was cooked to perfection, (also they crack fresh black pepper over your dish if you'd like it) the pancetta offered a great balance to the dish.
The Pollo Picatta is a chicken served with a lemon butter white wine sauce and a side of potatos and vegetables. The sauce was very creamy with just a hint of lemon, and the chicken was very tender and juicy, by far the best chicken dish I had anywhere. You could tell that there was a lot of love put into the food.
At the end of it we were too full for any desserts but we will definitely be coming back to try more out!
Thank you to Angela and the rest of the staff for making our night...
