At the beginning, their drinks were good but recently, their drinks have been extremely watered down. This year, Ive ordered the hazelnut milk tea, the roasted milk tea and taro milk tea. All they have in common was that the flavor was not there or barely there. I always ask for regular everything no adjustments. Once I asked them to remake my drink and this older asian lady (probably the franchise owner) told me that it should taste like that and if I order it again, it’ll taste better. She would not remake my drink at all. I had this issue with bubble world a few blocks up and I asked them to remake my drink and they didn’t hesitate to remake it and make it better. I guess this chat time franchise doesn’t want recurring customers. I suggest anyone thinking of getting something there to avoid that place at all cost and save your money! Water taste better than what their serving there!
Response to Owner:
If you hope to get a positive review then prove it to your customers, talk is cheap. I am not petty as to go so far for a free drink. The fact was the drink you guys made was horrible and did not live up to the standards from other chat time establishments. I went there to buy a delicious drink but I got the opposite.
I am not the only dissatisfied customers to come through your doors, if you really do put your customers first, you could have entertained my issue better rather than blame me for your mistake. The drink cost $7, watered down and it was practically full when I came back to ask it to be remade. If I pay that much for a watered down drink, I might as well drink water, it would actually taste a lot better than what you gave me.
If cost was so important to you, was it worth losing a customer who has been going there over and over again? Now with this review, you might lose even more. I could tell your staff would have done the right thing and remade the drink. You seem to have a great staff but you as the owner prevented them from doing their jobs. This whole incident would have been prevented by you simply remaking my watered down drink. This came to be because of your horrible customer...
Read moreI went to Cha time because I was craving something sweet and because they currently have a promo; 2 large drinks for $10. There are 4 drinks to choose from, Early grey milk tea, Honeydew slush, Passionfruit green tea and QQ peach.
I got the Passionfruit green tea and QQ peach, both with no ice and 80% sugar. Things started off rocky as I had to repeat my order a couple of times and correct the sweetness that he entered. I followed the wording on their chart and asked for less sweet (80% sweet), but he entered in 50% sweet. Additionally, instead of entering in the promotional value, he entered both drinks at full price, so I had to get him to correct that as well. I asked them if I could use my own glass mugs and he said yes. He never asked me for them and turned away to finish making the other customers' orders, so I placed my glass mugs where he had the other orders lined up. I noticed that he was beginning to make my drinks, but he grabbed a disposable cup. So, I had to go up and confirm that he was remembering to use my mugs. Overall, I waited 11 minutes for my drinks. There were 3 customers before me, 2 in store and one who pre-ordered. Taking my past experiences with wait times into consideration, this seemed to be on the longer side of things.
To top this all off, when I finally tried my drinks (at home) they tasted diluted. You can see that my peach drink basically looks like lightly colored water. I couldn't really taste the peach. They may have also skimped on the coconut jelly and pearls as well. The passionfruit tasted mostly of tea and could have used more sweetness. If I were to order these two drinks again, I would get 100% sugar. Normally 80% is perfect for me, but I've never ordered either of this drinks before, so I can't be sure if he made my drink incorrectly, or if it's the sweetness level that changed the flavor intensity. If I were to base my experience on today's interaction alone, I would never go back. However, I've come here many times in the past and have always had great customer service. Perhaps the person...
Read moreI just had the worse experience at this establishment. My family has been a loyal customer of this place for some time, Me and my daughter always grab bubble tea after her voice lessons that she takes down the street of this place.
I ordered a few drinks for the family and my wife always orders a brown sugar “oat milk” tea with pearls and crema. (She’s allergic to milk but can tolerate a small amount so the couple of table spoons of crema she can handle ).
The older lady at the counter took my order and asked if I still wanted the crema. I said yes… but when I got to the car and passed the drink to my wife she knew right away it was made with milk.
I go into the store and ask the older lady if this drink was made with oat milk she said no. I explained to her that it had to be oat milk and she got very upset…..started saying I ordered that and it’s my fault for not reading the order screen. I asked her “. Why would you ask me then if I still wanted the crema since I order oat milk “. She replied that she has to ask everyone if they want the crema even though it comes with the drink. How does this even make sense lol?
When I ordered originally I appreciated her asking me, she was probably looking out because people who may order oat milk might be allergic to milk . (Crema topping had dairy in it).
With all the attitude I asked her why she was so upset and explained to her maybe it was just a misunderstanding. She proceeded to make my drink but at that time with all the customers looking on (one customer sitting down actually said , “aren’t customers always right ?) I told the older lady at the counter I didn’t want the drink anymore that she can keep it and I’ll just leave a negative review. I have to admit I was pretty upset at how she handled the situation and found it very unprofessional to argue infront of other people . At this point it’s not about the drink or money.
As a customer that orders twice a week with his family, couldn’t understand why this establishment had to make their customer feel so un...
