It’s sad to see the Richmond location close recently, but we’re so glad the New Westminster location is still going strong!
We absolutely love their menu dedicated to authentic Taiwanese cuisine. Highly recommend the Taiwanese Chicken — it’s perfectly crispy and seasoned! The personal hot pots are another highlight: beautifully presented, rich in flavour, and a true comfort meal. Their bubble tea is always our favourite. It’s also a great spot to dine with non-Asian friends who want to explore Taiwanese flavours. 😇
Our all-time favourite choices for individual hot pots: 🍲 Pork Blood & Intestine in Spicy Hot Pot (麻辣鍋) – A bold and spicy option for adventurous eaters. 🍲 Milky Seafood Hot Pot (牛奶海鮮鍋) – Creamy and packed with seafood goodness. 🍲 Laksa Surf’n’Turf Hot Pot (喇沙海陸鍋) – Perfect balance of spice and richness.
Snacks and bubble tea are always top-notch here! ❤️ Some of our must-try favourites include:
Fried Squid Feet (魷魚鬚) Pineapple Shrimp Balls (鳳梨蝦球) Fried King Oyster Mushroom (杏鮑菇) Salty Peppery Chicken Nuggets (鹽酥雞)
The prices are reasonable, making it an awesome spot for meeting friends or group dining. Bubble World New West is a gem we keep coming back to!

Read moreWe live closer to the Coquitlam Bubble World but still come to this location because the staff is great, and their food portions and taste are better than the Coquitlam location. We always end up having the Taiwanese Beef Noodles in Soup, the Salt and Pepper Chicken Nuggets, a Hot Pot, and the matcha green tea slush. The servers are nice enough to split the slush for us as my daughter does not like the pearls but we do! We've tried other things on the menu and most items are pretty good but tend to favour those certain dishes. There's this one particular waitress who is so, so sweet. I can't remember her name from the top of my head but she is always so friendly and is super nice to my daughter. She even remembered that my daughter left a tiny toy at the restaurant a while ago and saved it for when we went back! I love going there with my youngest in the summer when we get to chill out for lunch and then go and take a walk...
Read moreUnless you are visibly Asian and speak an Asian language, do not go here. The food is "ok" at best but not worth a 45 minute wait (However, if you are Asian your order will be taken immediately and you will have hot food in front of you within 10 minutes at most). If you are Caucasian, be prepared to wait and wait and wait and then after you wait you can expect to be ignored. If you are ignorant to bubble tea, or their specialty teas, do not expect a friendly lesson on what it is and how to order it. You're treated like an idiot for not knowing, given half the information you need for ordering (because the staff is too busy excitedly greeting Asian customers as they walk through the door), and then they shrug their shoulders and mutter "oh sorry" and walk away if you don't really like what you've mistakenly ordered. I will NEVER go back...EVER. I would get better service at a soup kitchen and the food is definitely...
