So we came after the movie to have food and there were 2 girls working on date june 1st,2025 at 12:38 am approx and before us there was a brown dude walked in and did a dine in. As we were starving we wanted to do dine in but the girl who was having EarPods denied and we asked why can that guy dine in and why not us, that was really unprofessional and that shows very poor customer service.
We left the store and were going through elevator i saw a girl in the store with glasses on was literally laughing on us and feeling proud by denying us to surve. I wonder why the owner can tolerate such kinda stuff who dont know how to respect their customers. I came back to ask why was she laughing on us and she said to leave the store and called the security. With respect i asked the name and contact of the owner but she said NO. I even asked for email address she said do whatever you want i will not give you any information, as she was at fault and even her coworker they both said we cannot give you any number or name or email address of the owner.
I will never come again to this store and i ask you guys all you guys to have food somewhere else but not here otherwise you be the one like me who will have to undergo this type of unacceptable behaviour.
With all due respect being a customer i ask the owner to contact me back and talk to me with...
Read moreI have heard that Donair Dude does a Halifax donair that is nearly true to the OG Halifax donairs that us Maritimers always have difficulty finding here on the West Coast. I was excited to try this new location for my first taste of their Halifax style donair. The location is convenient- right at the New West skytrain station. There was a line-up but the line went fast. There were many workers there and I believe one of the owners was the one making my donair. Everyone was super friendly. I got the Halifax donair and I have to say it is the absolute closest tasting thing to a real Halifax donair that I have ever had in the 12 years I've lived in Vancouver. A few differences is that they split the pita open and put the toppings inside and then grill the whole donair kinda like you would a panini. Now while this is different to the true Halifax donair, I think it is a great thing because it keeps the sauce from getting the pita soggy and wet and it also makes for a much cleaner eating experience so you don't get sauce and meat all over your hands and spilling out of the pita. Two thumbs up Donair Dude! They also have a special right now for their new opening- a donair and a can of pop for $7.99 I am looking forward to trying your other menu options in the...
Read moreI have been visiting Donair Dude for over 14 years. Started at their first location on Davie street. It was convenient as I lived downtown.
At some point when you begin to raise a family the suburbs start looking attractive, and that's what I did. Moved to Burnaby area.
Was bummed out as there were no Donair Dudes near by. But a few years ago, a Donair Dude opened in New West., and was so happy it was closer than the downtown location.
I come here for dinner once a week, and not once have I ever been disappointed. The owners and employees here do a phenomenal job. The Donairs are always fresh, delicious and their service is always top notch. The place is well kept, organized and clean. Simply put, the owners and employees care and this makes all the difference in the world.
Lately our company have gone to Donair Dude New West. for catering for our lunch. I can tell you everyone at our company looks forward to Donair Dude. We have about 8 staff members and the amount of food can literally feed us for another day. And that is after everyone has had seconds because its soooo good!
I look forward going to Donair Dude New West again. Best Donair in town. No other place...
